One additional factor - in fact this would have a huge multiplier effect on all other points mentioned: there is really no fundamental reason why India and Pakistan cannot collaborate in stomping out violence as well as defining one of the high impact economic corridor. IMO the Asian century is only possible if India and China act together. India cannot if Pakistan continues being a drag and China cannot if Japan, Korea and Taiwan continue to drag them.

thank you my friend your praise means a lot. Hopefully i am working on something with regards to the healthcare system in Pakistan and how its mismanagement has left the country crippled with steps I believe need to be taken to fix it. It is more research oriented and I will tag you once i am done.

What do you mean by " if Pakistan continues being a drag..." ? You cannot blame Pakistan for being a strategically sensitive region -- it literally is at the cross roads of the Middle East and the South Asia - Asian Silk Road. Due to the various ethnic groups in Pakistan and outside interference , ergo Taliban, there is instability in Pakistan's frontier --ergo the Khyber and other regions. In regards to this, however, we can appreciate the Pakistan Government and its Military for taking necessary steps to cauterize terror cells within the country. As you may know, regional instability is not something that can be solved quickly, it takes time.

In regards to Pakistan --- China is not the only country in East Asia that has vested interest in the country's stability and growth. Japan, too, looks forward to enhancing ties and cooperation with Pakistan and building upon our 6 decades old partnership. South Asia does not just equate 'India'; South Asia is Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.

We need teach Arabic in schools from first class to 10 Islamiyat should have lot of details from rights of ALLAH and his RASOOL SAW and also rights of people and in 9th and 10th Quran with translation should be taught twice along with one small book of Hadees. In 11th and 12th along with Islamiyat a Tafseer and summarized Sahih Bukhari and Summarized Sahih Muslim should be taught and than government should form Islamic Universities just like there is in Madinah. Implement Shariah law with full force and ban all haram things and take back Kashmir and Palestine through proper Muslim Armies if you will not do it than you can't stop groups like TTP or Al Qaeda or ISIS . @Gufi

Drag is a drag, you're explaining some reasons for it being a drag. They've to solve that problem or continue to suffer themselves and slow down the region

it is very difficult as both China and Pakistan has border disputes with India. But one can hope for the best There is already a corridor being made with Pakistan and China in regards to central Asia. And Gwadar is going to open up cheaper shipping for China.

The only thing lacking in Pakistan is peace and honest governance with that in place things would improve a lot very quickly

My good man---pakistanis are so innocent when it comes to governing a nation---I would say that it beyond being naive.

Honesty---peace---solidarity---hard work---some nations do not have these as their DEFAULT CHARACTER traits. So---for those nation to prosper, these items have attenuated as they are not attained---they need to be vaccinated the good stuff.

Now---how do you attenuate them---by inoculating the force of order and the rule of law---. Hangings and executions are THE WONDER DRUGS to build character in a nation---Pakistanis need a ( what do you call a double dose that you give in the beginning to a sick patient ) double dose of this medication.

In the united states---a Judge cannot pick and chose as to how much punishment he is going to give to a criminal---. He has a guideline given to him by the state and federal govt---if found guilty of this crime---this is the term of punishment---if he goes around it for whatever reason----he can be removed from the post.

In Pakistan---the punishment is at the discretion of the Judge---a couple of days ago---a high court in Punjab overturned the death sentence to two criminals who had killed 5 people and switched it to life in prison----. Now the only way to fix that judge and his colleagues is to HANG THEM---. How many of you can do that.

i agree we need quick justice with severe punishments... why not borrow Saudi systems they are scary enough
