A Formidable Enemy-The ‘good’ Taliban join forces with the ‘bad’ Taliban

"it is mobile shourah ,even talaban may dont have idea who is member of shaurah and where it is residing."

I see. Is Mehsud and others also mobile? Likely, eh?

"PA could not locate famous talaban shourah because maintain any intelligence network in Balouchistan and FATA is impossible."

Yet you know that the taliban operate with "mobile shourah"?

"Better Obama regime talk to shaurah and resolve the conflict through dialoque, there is no end of this war.

Why US is reluctant to accept the peace deal demands of Talaban?"

How did your various "peace deals" not work with their pakistani compatriots? Weren't such agreements viewed as a license to steal by these men like Mehsud? Why do you think the afghan taliban are any different?

If the taliban are so objectionable for SWAT, Buner, Bajaur, and the rest of Pakistan then so too for Afghanistan. They have an archaic and brutal vision of society that cannot be permitted to exist. You cannot turn your back on progress.

.
You'll know more when your army finally enters all these areas. I'll look forward to such someday.

Perhaps. And perhaps you'll know more too if your army finally enters areas hitherto unexplored and uncontested in Afghanistan. Two can play at that game.:agree:

We look forward, indeed, to operations the likes of your recent foray into Helmand. Right direction, but long way to go. Maybe, MAYBE you'll find Mullah Omar's not so far away after all...

Mullah omer never treathen US or Israel nor Pakistan or any other country during his rule

Do you think still they are worst enemy of US more then Ahmedi Nejad , who had threatened existance of Israel .

What is their crime other then to refuse to hand over OBL to US? so we can say their existance is danger for family of nations.

.
The American Milletery officials also tend to visit Quetta quit oftenly. I have seen them their. Dont know the purpose of their visit ?

"What is their crime other then to refuse to hand over OBL to US?"

Fundamentalist, the taliban's current crimes include the gross interference in the U.N. mandated mission to stabilize Afghanistan's current and legitimately elected/recognized government. Over forty nations participate at the invitation of the Afghan government.

The taliban TARGET afghan civilians with acid spraying, bombings, and shellings. Does this matter to you? They have killed or wounded more than half of all Afghan civilian casualties in the last year as reported by the U.N-

UN Report: Civilian Casualties Hit Record High In Afghan Report-CNN February 2009

Human Rights Watch reported much the same in 2007 here-

The Human Cost: The Consequence of Insurgent Attacks In Afghanistan- HRW April 2007

Are you o.k. with the targeted, intentional killing of civilians to further a political objectives? Do you believe that disfiguring little schoolgirls accelerates such a message?

There is NOTHING redeemable about these men. If they aren't acceptable in Pakistan, they certainly aren't acceptable in Afghanistan.

Kasrkin,

US and Allies have latest weapons, intelligence and support of Northern Alliance , Musharaf and Zardari regimes provided them every thing what they demanded (drone attacks continued) but still could not able to get any tengible results.

Its mean either ISAF cammand and control and forces are incapable or to defeat the talaban in Afghanistan is impossible.

In both cases their is only one solution left , which is negotiations.

"The Yanks lowered the Soviets in Afghanistan . and yet again ....
I see no difference..."

Anywhere between 900,000 and 3,000,000 people died in the Soviet-Afghan war.

Most estimates place the total dead so far at about 20,000 from this insurgency-most killed by the taliban. I see a massive difference.

Can you count? You know- one, two, three...?

I think US is engaged in Iraq as well. Why not include those attrocities .

Yup i am counting and will reveal the numbers when the adventure ends .

.
Its good tactics, First start an insurgency and then blame others for the attrocities .
Its like after exploding the bomb you say its the fault of manufacturer .

Come on dude ,you know very well, in war zones the civilian always suffer even many soldiers killed by friendly fire, civilian causulties started after US invations not before.

These tribels love to live in war zones, if US forces leave Afghanistan they will start fight with each other.War and sale of weapons is their trade.

.
"...in war zones the civilian always suffer..."

Civilians suffer more when intentionally targeted. Nobody of consequence (i.e., U.N. or HRW) has accused ISAF of such behavior. Equally bad is engaging ISAF forces and retreating among civilians. The taliban have been repeatedly and fairly accused of both TARGETING and using HUMAN SHIELDS.

Please read the provided documents in the previous posts.

"In both cases their is only one solution left , which is negotiations."

No. Your solution is tantamount to abject surrender. Will you "negotiate" in Pakistan?

"...they will start fight with each other.War and sale of weapons is their trade."j

Afterall, those in FATA are tribals too. War and sale of weapons is their trade, remember?

If the taliban aren't acceptable to Pakistan then they are not acceptable to Afghanistan unless you don't care how miserable your muslim brothers in Afghanistan become under taliban rule.

I would think that SWAT and Buner provided all the evidence a Pakistani needs to know why the taliban can never be accepted ANYWHERE.

.
If the taliban aren't acceptable to Pakistan then they are not acceptable to Afghanistan unless you don't care how miserable your muslim brothers in Afghanistan become under taliban rule.

That is going to be very hard to regurgitate in Many Pakistanies minds, since the good talibans are the afghanistan taliban fighting the Devils in the region.

.
"the good talibans are the afghanistan taliban fighting the Devils in the region."

The "good taliban" have an odd way of fighting. Deliberately targeting your own brothers and sisters is strange. Coercing human shields after attacking ISAF is deliberate, cruel, and strange. Disfiguring afghan women with acid is beyond strange.

Afghans appear to be increasingly frustrated with the GoA and ISAF/America. Where polls showed approval of America in the mid 80s around 2002, they now show approval in the low 60s. Quite a drop.

Afghans, however, have NEVER accepted the taliban. Last February's ABC/BBC/ARD poll from Afghanistan showed that even foreign irhabist fighters received a greater percentage of strong or somewhat strong support from the afghan people (see question #18)-

ABC/BBC/ARD Afghanistan Survey- February 2009

Pakistanis fool nobody in supporting the afghan taliban- especially now when the evidence of the taliban's corrosive impact should be so intimately clear to these Pakistanis. One has to simply wonder of the gulf which existed between Pakistan and Kabul that the taliban could govern for so long and so heinously, shock the world in doing so, but not offend the Pakistani sensibilities of what's best for Afghans.

There's no longer a negotiation option on the table in Pakistan, thank God. There never should have been in any case but the object lessons are now there as well. There should be no such "negotiation" in Afghanistan either.

Disarm, cease your miscreant ways, swear allegiance to the afghan constitution and get about making things better instead of worse. Don't like matters? Run for election.

How's that for negotiation? BTW, Questions #21 and 22 refer DIRECTLY to this issue. Over 60% of afghans wish for negotiations, but only to achieve political participation and only after the taliban cease fighting...not concurrently.

They're no fools.

"Perhaps. And perhaps you'll know more too if your army finally enters areas hitherto unexplored and uncontested in Afghanistan. Two can play at that game.:agree:"

Cute and bit smug. I'm unsure why as you are discussing the efforts taken by other nations in Helmand on behalf of Afghanistan- many who've traveled from very far away in order to help others.

Quetta, OTOH, is part of Pakistan. Sovereign land, ostensibly. What game do you think you are playing with those sovereign responsibilities to yourselves and others? How has it benefited Pakistan to have SECDEF Gates believe, along with many other well-informed policymakers, that the defeated taliban gov't of Afghanistan resides in the Quetta area from where they direct insurgent operations against the duly elected gov't of Afghanistan and forty other nations operating under a U.N. mandate?

Without question, the elevation to exalted status of these losers by your nat'l P.R. machinery glorified them sufficiently to inspire your own local variants over the last seven years...if you haven't noticed.

Some game you're playing.:tsk:
