British Airways Flight 5390-in this aircraft,the windscreen blew out in mid-air,the pilot was sucked out but was caught by his co-pilot.he stayed with his lower half outside the flying aircraft for sometime.

Air brakes on a British Buccaneer Bomber

oke ... the need for deploying air brake in high altitudes especially in fighters is needed in order to fire missiles or drop bombs... some missiles cant be fired on lower speed nor higher speed.. missiles usually can be fired on certain mach and so air brake in an essential part of it.... fighters have several form of airbrakes... for Tejas it is on the wings itself....
