Nope, you are still diverting.

Thing is, Maoist oppose any development, even on the lands away from their home.
More accurate analogy would be that I am living in certain part of the city, but I oppose a development project in an uninhibited area outside the city. Try to read about it, Naxal movement started in communist Bengal, when India had largely socialist policies ( even more so than now). Their ideology is not to oppose certain development project, but to impose Maoism/Communism in the country. The movement never gained any grounds beyond certain underdeveloped regions, even there it is loosing its charm.

What you ignore is that Maoism largely ignore the wishes of people - even majority. Look at the country where this ideology was adopted and what price it paid.
