India's defence budget is four and a half times that of Pakistan. India can afford it.

What are your terms?? India wants the current ground positions of the two armies to be clearly demarcated and accepted by both sides b4 any withdrawal.To date pakistan hasnt accepted that.

Kasuri Ji has got his foot in his mouth again. He tried rushing India through a media blitz. It didn't work. The Indian Govt. doesn't give as much importance to the media as the Pakistanis do.

It is a simple choice for Pakistan regarding Siachen. India is in a position of strength. We control the heights, and any withdrawal will only happen if and only if Actual Ground Position is recognized, which mean, withdrawal only when Pakistanis accept Indian control of the glacier.

I'm not being vain or pompous, it is just the fact that we guys happen to control the glacier and there's no good reason to give it up.

Your use of the term 'boy' for me would make me believe you are nearing your grave with regards to age? Sure the enthusiasm on the Indian side is less but they very well know that until they solve core disputes with Pakistan, there can be no progress in relations and India's inability to make progress in relations with Pakistan affects its standing internationally.

You confuse agreements after wars with agreements on the solving of disputes. There was NO war at Siachen; the Indians snuck in.
