অথচ এদেরই অন্তর নাকি জীব-জন্তু ও পশুর জন্য কাঁদে! অন্যদিকে যেসব দেশ তাদের অধীনতা থেকে মুক্ত বা স্বাধীনচেতা এবং তাদের ধামাধরা নয়, সেসব দেশে ক্ষুদ্রতম অজুহাতও দেখতে পেলে তারা তা শতগুণ বড় করে তুলে ধরে। অথচ মিয়ানমারে নিরপরাধ, নিরস্ত্র এবং অসহায় নারী, পুরুষ ও শিশুদের হত্যার ব্যাপারে তারা নিশ্চুপ হয়ে আছে। পশ্চিমা শক্তিগুলো অবশ্য এ ব্যাপারে সাফাইও গাইছে! এই হলো তাদের মানবাধিকারের অবস্থা! তাদের মানবাধিকার নৈতিকতা, খোদা ও আধ্যাত্মিকতাবিহীন। পশ্চিমাদের নৈতিকতা এবং মানবাধিকারের দাবি যে মিথ্যা বড়াই ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়, তা স্পষ্ট হয়ে গেছে মিয়ানমারের হাজার হাজার মুসলমানকে হত্যার বিষয়ে তাদের নীরবতার মধ্য দিয়ে।
