That would be true regardless of whether the soldiers involved were Israeli or some other nationality. People run roadblocks and sometimes officers of the law or soldiers shoot and kill: it may be the right thing to do or it may be an error but it isn't necessarily a crime for them to do so.


Israel is indeed an island of law in a wilderness of authoritarianism and dictatorship.

In this case, the soldier was convicted for killing a disabled Palestinian War Criminal.
He committed the crime of perfidy, just as the perpertrator in the OP.

Israeli forces in Palestinian land erect checkpoints, then open fire on Palestinian family in car because they didn't 'listen to instructions' of Israeli forces. Now they are supposedly going to investigate this incident, but that won't bring anyones life back. They are changing the story and claiming the driver accidentally entered checkpoint area . So they restrict their freedom of movement then open fire on them for entering checkpoints erected all over the place that you are not aware of.

That is exactly what happens when the Palestinians commit the crime of perfidy.
Israeli soldiers cannot judge if someone is a military threat by the lack of uniform.
They will have to make a judgement based on the behaviour.
The ultimate reason why they were killed was Palestinian non adherence to the Geneva Convention.

It's called Deduction/Reason...
You can play on the "Fake news that or Fake news this to plant the seed of "Doubt"... and will mostly work the simple mind... But I am thankful, that I can still discern in some some way Reality to Fantasy.

It proves that they are a society based on law.
It is not a claim that they never break the law.

The difference between Israelis and Palestinians is that the Palestinian society is not based on law.
