I'm here with you guys, we don't actually know how many US soldiers, if any, were killed. I wouldn't put it past the Americans to lie about casualties.

They have been consistently doing this in Iraq and Afghanistan to hide casualties.

I don't trust anything they say anymore.

There could be many reasons for not striking back but as it looks to me American were ready during the Missile Strikes. They had assets in the Air ready to Retaliate from both Turkey and GCC. And Once the Iranians shot down the Airliner they might have seen that if they escalate they wont be able to Spin the Crash to their advantage. Oranges Administer could have been accused for the crash. This is just my theory.
