2016 Revolution! Lahore City of Pakistan

Nawaz Sharif tenure as CM of Punjab under party name Islami Jamhoori Ittehad

April 9, 1985 - August 6, 1990 = 5 years +4 months

Ghulam Haider Wyne tenure of CM Punjab under party name Islami Jamhoori Ittehad

August 6, 1990 - April 25, 1993 = 2 years + 8 months

Shabaz Sharif as CM of Punjab under party name PMLN

1st tenure

February 20, 1997 - October 12, 1999 = 2 years + 8 months

2nd tenure

June 8, 2008 - March 26, 2013 = 4 years + 9 months

3rd tenure

Jun 23, 2013 - ongoing = 3 years + 2 months

So to be exactly accurate the total time in power by N league/ Islami Jamhoori Ittehad = 18 years + 8 months in Punjab alone.

Nawaz as PM of Pakistan

1st tenure

6 November 1990 – 18 July 1993 = 2 years + 8 months

2nd tenure

17 February 1997 – 12 October 1999 = 2 years + 8 months

3rd tenure

5 June 2013 - current = 3 years + 3 month

Total time as PM of Pakistan = 8 years + 8 months

when imran khan says, that in 3 years he cant meet all of his targets, then how could u think others would meet their targets in the tenure's of two or three years??

yes if Nawaz sharif rules pakistan for 5 consecutive years then you can make him answerable from your vote.

Thats correct IK said that but he has achieved more in 3 years than what NS + SS have in all their time in office plus you might be forgetting but Shahbaz Sharif has been ruling Punjab for more than 8 years consecutively. But the below issues have still not been addressed.

1. People are still dying in Hospitals from lack of facilities and fake medicines
2. Police is still corrupt and is used to do political killings
3. Crime rate is soaring
4. Apart from Lahore no improvement can seen in the rest of Punjab
5. Ghost employee are still present in public schools, some schools even being used to house cattle
6. Corruption is still rampant in every public sector of Punjab

I can make a huge list of issues, but i am sure you get the point.

Awesome. As a karachiiet I honestly envy the Punjab leadership, doesn't matter what people say, I think SS has done a marvellous job in developing Infra structure in Punjab and specially Lahore

Frankly, this immense hardwork & persistence credit goes to none other Shahbaz Shariff and his Punjab administration, SS has now become a legendry figure for Pakistanis who massively developed Punjab and the capital Lahore.

The Punjab Leadership headed by the titled Khadim-e-Ala Shahbaz Shariff had done a great job to develop & develop institutes, buildings, infrastructure, traffic laws, sports centres and road network. Even though Nawaz, Dar, Captain Safdar seen to be the corrupt along with there kids, but all developed Pakistan immensely......infact Shahbaz Shahbaz has being the real implementer, changer, developer and mind behind the new outlook of modern Punjab.

Well done Punjabi leadership.:police::yahoo::pakistan:

Lahore is 'THE'most important historical city of Pakistan. It has not only ancient monuments, but nostalgic memories of 1947_48 when it received with such open arms more than one crore refugees (real MUHAJIRS) thrown out of East Punjab in such a miserable and '' condition and were encamped in Walton Road Camp and Bowley Camp. All these refugees poured-in within two and a half months. May be in future a PUNJABI DHGGA pick up courage to build up memorial for that 'Genocide in East Punjab'.To attract tourists in order to explore the history of a city that city needs a good transport system, as in London and Paris. So Lahore needs to keep a balance between the two BUT BOTH OF THEM ESSENTIAL and I cogratulate Shahbaz Sarif for taking the initiative.
