All LCB... They are sanctioned to wear the same camo Woodland BDU.

Looking at LCB's makes me wonder how far our forces have come .. they look better equipped than other regional Infantry forces ..
does this LCB comes under a special unit ? like in every Company or Brigade there are LCB's ?

While every reg has a special unit ... much like QRF....

LCB has been FATA and Balochistan since years.

Dont you remember Capt Roohullah Shaheed, Tamgha-e- jurat who sacrificed his life with bravery in Quetta Police lines attack in 2016?

Who was Roohullah, the martyr of Quetta terror attack?

PESHAWAR: Captain Roohullah embraced martyrdom on the attack at the Police Training Centre in Quetta in while at least sixty recruits lost their lives and 120 were injured.

ARY News reached his hometown and found out about this hero who gave up his life to save hundreds of others from dying. Roohullah, aged 26, hailed from Shabqadar tehsil of Charsadda tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He was a commando of the Light Commando Battalion.

He reached the Police Training Centre on October 24 when the terrorist incident took place and fought valiantly against them in the clearing operation until he embraced martyrdom.

WHAT HIS FAMILY MEMBERS SAY?

Roohullah’s family members, while talking to ARY News said that they are not deterred as he always wanted to become a part of Pakistan Army and yesterday he embraced martyrdom for the sake of his country.

“I wanted him to get admission in medical school, but he said that he wants to die a as martyr,” said his father, Muhamamad Najibullah. He said that Roohullah was obsessed with the Pakistan Army.

The brave soldier was his father’s first child and was about to get married next month.

A large number of people today gathered at his ancestral home in Shabqadar to pay their respects and offer their condolences.

His cousin Jalal recalled the memories with Capt. Roohullah and said that he was a very humble and simple person, and was very fond of going on adventures and would go whenever he would come back home.

He joined the Pakistan Army in 2009 and had been served in the tribal areas of Pakistan, and was posted in Quetta last year.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has announced to award a posthumous Tamgha-e-Jurat (Medal of Courage) for showing extraordinary gallant and for distinguished service in combat operations.

LCBs are mainly deployed in FATA. They were formed as a result of war in FATA relieving SSG of going after every tom dick n harry. They've filled the gaps between regular infantry and Special Forces (SSG) and have been the working horse of Op Zarb-Azb.

Yup. they are our 75th Rangers.
