Yeah but having a fresh match also makes no sense. That would be worse. What if it gets washed out again ? And the fielding team, in this case India would be so tired tomorrow and cant bowl another 50 overs again with the same stamina. Continuing is far better, though no solution could be perfect in such a situation.

Good point. If we look now the ball has done the top Indian batsmen, conditions matter more than anything...
