The Working Group is expected to meet next month.
The situation flared up again in Dibir Haor is regrettable, he said. It might be the decision of the Delhi meeting to maintain the status quo has not yet been percolated to the BSF field officials.

At Protapur and Sonarhat border in Goainghat border, 10 to 15km north-south of Dibir Haor, Indian BSF have taken an aggressive posture since the morning. They have dug about 20 bunkers within Bangladesh territory and taken position with guns aiming at the villagers. Heavy guns and troops have been mobilized in and around the bunkers creating panic among the villagers who have started leaving homes in fear.
