Commercial busses life expectancy is 12 years (90% drop in value) commercial engines are usually warranted for 5 years or 500,000 km whichever comes first some manufactures use engine hours, But at 1.2 million miles of stop and go that commercial vehicle (bus) is worthless unless you want to spend millions on repairs its wise business decision to retire them.
