When you find Tejas within visual range:
  1. Control your laugh
  2. Let the pilot play with his toy for a while
  3. Invite the pilot to the tea party
  4. Execute neutralisation sequence...
 
The design and specs of LCA Tejas looks good enough. However Indian Government should fibally decide what to do with this project. Either Declare it a platform for testing of future technologies and further developement of more modern aircraft, or Start replacing atleast bombers like Jaguar and mig27 if not Bisons.
This project is getting rediculous day by day thanks to poor management. Nothing much wrong with design and specs of aircraft though

Jf 17 - designed by Soviet and blueprint sold to Chinese but improvement done bt them in their labs.. Of course, being a primary customer ( PAF), improvement was done accordingly their requirements.
 
Ah yes, now they have half the amount of Tejas in “service” (as in, flying without BVR capabilities) as compared to JF-17s that are flying with foreign (Non-Pakistani) users. Congratulations. By the time the 200th JF-17 rolls out, maybe They will finally have them combat ready.

Poorly executed by the IAF - the positioning of the aircraft is poor within each chevron and the timing/sequencing of the third chevron sucked big time.

compared to the 120 thunders you boast the tejas wins in.every single Aspect even in mark 1
better usa engines
far better flight control.with compsite airframe
and has helmet mounted display for wvr combat excellence and speed..
bvr wise the current klj radar has half the range of our current israeli supplied elta radars

you talk about 30 block 3 well.they are not here and you have no official record that the chinease will help you upgrade the 120.you have to a Decent standard
the airframe in some cases are seeing defects so it was rumoured after just decade of serviced you see poor alloy cheap airframe.. there is a reason by tejas j10 typhoon gripen Rafale all deploy composites.
you guys went for cheap and speed with Russian engine and third generation airframe

by the way the mig27 were phased out 4 years ago.
there are only 4 mig21 sqds left
we have 2 tejas sqds flying
no 45 with a 16 planes
no18 flying bullets as only 4 with 8 ready to join about now in bulk

Pity that you don't have the confidence to fly it even on your republic day let alone display in it....unlike JF-17 which has participated in all major airshows around the globe is present in every home event, has even carried out missions and above all has paid a visit to your army assets in IOK.

After 35 years, most aircraft are towards the end of their service life....despite every major aircraft manufacturer helping in the LCA project, only Indians can call it indigenous and take pride in making something airworthy after 3 decades.....it took just one AMRAAM to kill the myth of your Asian Raptor....what price your Tejas which needs to run the full stretch of the runway before it can do a simple pull up....so much for the American engine.

Jf 17 was not designed by the Soviets you spanner. It was influenced by the mig 33. Other than that, pakistan and china worked hard in collaboration to make the jf17 for pakistan. The exports are mostly just bonuses

I can explain the mirage 2000 orders they are coming for spares cannalbisation to maintain the 50 mirage2000 we have in service. there is no other option.
it will.take full decade before all 124 Tejas mark1 are in service for this reason we need to keep the 50 mirages flying
yes I repeat the Tejas beats the Mirage2000 f16 in pak service and even.su30mki
in 3 critical areas.......

And none of these were to be seen on 27th february, its good for chest thunping but in reality chutney is ready for the samosa.
