Well may be vegetarian but people should try this, called pachhadi in Telugu or chutney or Pickles made of fresh vegetables. Either for use for a whole year or for instant use pounded. Very very hot and spicy stuff eaten with rice but can be taken with anything.

Apparently its been part of Indian cuisine for centuries in some place. They aren't going to stop eating it because humein ghin aati hai
