kis ney kaha pheke hain yaar, kal ajao mein tumhay ley chalta houn spicy chapli kabab khelaney with those big round naan...

Yep chapli kababs in Peshawar KPK are large ones mostly spicy and best to be eaten on the spot. My mother is specialist in making these kababs its natural people of KPK do learn it. There is also muutey kabab [called fist kabab if I'm not wrong] and the round ones, bigger round kababs and small double kabab people call it.

In Lahore you get these Afghani Tikkay, they are very similar to Turkish taste.

donar kebab is a cheap fast food product like fried chicken

Assal main Pakistan main bhi Nihari ke champions sab woh hain jo puranay waqton main Delhi se aye thay.

Sab Nihari Champions Karachi main aa basay I think.

We have a restaurant called Delhi Darbar in Dubai (owned by Pakistanis), kya first class Nihari milti hai.

assal main a lahorite has excepted karachi dominance in food :D

good to know

I don't know about yogurt but I think Maida is used in our puri.

We also eat maida puri but atta puri is more common as people prefer maida least in their food.

Bhatura is made by making dough of maida with yoghurt and left for some time to be leavened. The Bhatura after being fried is little bit elastic like naan.

Persian cuisine
Turkish
Chinese+Thai
Italian
Indian+Pakistani cuisines are my favorites

Thank you spicy lovers.

BURN IT for the love of food

What's up with this competitiveness? Hum khatay peetay log hain, acha khana hona chahiye, poori duniya ka kha jayenge.

Oh yeah I've eaten that too. Don't know the names, but usually we explain to the waiter "Boat shaped Manakish" and they understand.

I was so surprised to find out that, that Chiken Tika boti, tastes just like the Pakistani one.

I think Turkey originally formed Doner kabab, which became Gyro in Greece and west and it became Shawarma in the middle east.

Yes , but they use some different spices which makes it less spicy to what we cook. btw Asim i cant help describe the recipe for Turkish Iskendar.

1: Turkish bread with heated butter chopped into small pieces
2: Grilled chicken/beef layered over the bread , covered by another butter soaked bread layer
3: Turkish salad , baked tomato pieces , potato wedges baked , mixed with another layer of grilled meat , then baked in the oven for 20 minutes
4: Finished with fresh yoghourt with a black pepper sprinkle , served with houmous or tomato sauce .

I know you have watery mouth -- duaahhh :partay:

Over the years Turks have invented stuff that has got people addicted even today. Ie Kebabs , Turkish delights , and Cigarettes !

We call it Malbari parathi here in Dubai.

Its made from maida, not aata. Put an Omlette in it, with some cheese slice and its yummmm.

It is also known as Kerala Paratha in India. We have readymade half cooked or uncooked freezed packed Lachchha Paratha available in supermarkets in India.
