Old habits never die!
I would say budgetary constraints and general doctrine to focus resources on ballistic missile development and production. Producing any type of planes is not easy task and involves all industries.
Your observation is interesting I have to say.
Looks like Iranian AshCM have awkward tendency to hit joint parts between the surface deck and the sides of the ship.
This is damage from INS Hanit taken during Hezbollah war in 2006. Very cloese to the surface of the deck.
Also there was a report...
If they are willing to commit collective suicide and risk little kike state not far from Iran as if they don't have enough problems with this pandemic already.
It wouldn't be a surprise if this missile could launch from submarines off shores from Gulf of Oman as long as you have illumination target from the Iranian coast!
It didn't make sense to me with regards to test artillery rocket in the middle of the sea with floating target that is moving. Transmitting GPS signal from the floating object and updating coordinates is a reasonable excuse but hardly any moving target will transmit its GPS in real wartime...
If this missile has 400 km range and it takes time to reach the target that is lets say they tested missile for max range. Then in that case it takes time to reach the target. Some estimate <1~2 minutes depending on the max speed. That float target had to move a bit so I think this missile...
What do you expect?! Shooting down a civilian airplane is a priseworthy deed that deserves promotions in the US army. Now imagine when an actual enemy is shooting at you. I expect that these standards get lower as the time progresses where US soldiers will get promoted for taking online insults...
Looking from the video Yavar posted there was little to no smoke trail behind the rocket and the lift off sequence was clean as well. It will be interesting to see weight of the satellite to compare it with the previous satellite carrier that failed in its last stage few months ago.
Oh you mean countries that deliver chemical weapons to the aggressor and then offer to treat the victims of chemical attack and pass information to the same country they gave the weapon in order to enhance its properties and make it more deadlier. You muppets come from zionist assembly lines or...
And West complains that Chinese nation is all about copying and pasting military technology. Who said Chinese are not creative when it comes to bringing down its enemies. Only collateral damage from this chinese bioweapon were many potentialy unwiped asses due to lack of toilet paper. Sun Tzu...
Everytime when there is something positive non sectarian topic going on here, urgency is exercised to derail the topic from the muslim common enemy to a sectarian topic. Who da fack gives the shit about the statues in islam the point is this statue is facing towards the enemy!
Question:What is bigger than a maximum pressure?
Answer: Two maximum pressures!
Seriously is it just me or I'm living under the rock because I'm not hearing calls for limiting Iranian ballistic missile program. I know there was a demand to limit nuclear program and then missiles and now I'm not...
I assume the missile is intended for sole surgically strike precision? If you want to count an energy converted to blast radius then I believe the type of ground plays a significant role as well. It makes sense to convert energy into blast radius on the hard solid ground such as gravel and rocky...
Hmm.. The last image favors more airborne directed energy weapons and yes figures do show that in the near exospheric and above conditions, lasers will shine but yet again questions do rise when you have a passenger plane retrofitted with a laser which can be a huge blimp on the radar screens...
Lasers are not perfect they certainly have their disadvantages. When based as a ground air defense asset they can become useless if you have a stormy weather i.e. sand storm or rain storm, foggy days and nights where it becomes hopeless to use them and enemy can take advantage on that. For the...
