Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is in Kerala for Jan Raksha Yatra to protest against the killings of RSS and BJP workers in the state, responded to CPI(M)’s hospital jibe, saying Pinarayi Vijayan’s government should learn how to run infirmaries from his government.

I'm BJP supporter but I don't support his statement regarding "hospitals". UP is still a mess in development area. UP hospitals are not in ideal conditions to compare with.
It is just a political statement from Yogi.

If what he said is true, then I despair for his sanity. I've worked (very briefly) in the healthcare segment, and I think the northern parts of Kerala, north of Kochi, centring in the hilly belt off Kannur and Kozhikode, is the best healthcare ambience in India. Not excluded pampered, spoilt Delhi, or state of the art Mumbai.

Yogi deserves laurels for what he achieved in short span of time .

Sharp drop in BRD hospital deaths this year: Govt data
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...-this-year-govt-data/articleshow/60352379.cms

According to the data compiled by the UP health department, made available to PTI, 1,317 children had died in the state-run facility so far this year.

The number of deaths stood at 5,850 in 2014, 6,917 in 2015 and 6,121 in 2016, the department data said.

The data showed the average daily deaths translating to 16 in 2014, 19 in 2015 and 17 in 2016 -- as against 5.3 a day till August this year.

as usual a political statement , if UP is the standard for hospitals then bihar should be the standard for effective administration.

By stopping supply of oxygen to Hospitals and letting poor Children dies. Nice.

Then we should learn tolerance from Hitler,Democratic rights from Stalin and Secularism from ISIS.

No doubt still one of the best but the game moved on to Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra in terms of public health infrastructure and systems some time ago.

Delhi is a given, but you have Punjab, Chandigarh and Goa doing great too.

Yogi has been having a bit too much of the frothy yellow stuff lately. Probably direct from source as well.

Cheers, Doc

Good input, Doc. I have to catch up; been out of touch since 2008. The Yogi's been gulping it down both in pre-fermented liquid form and yogurt form. No hope for anything coherent out of him.

Dada,

If what he said is true, then I despair for his sanity.

Look at the positive side. If he is insane, he will cost the BJP India in 2019 and UP in 2022.

The real criticism of Kerala is different. It does a good job of nursing and educating its children, but once they grow up it doesnt know what to do with them.

Regards

I see your point, and it is a very rational one, as are you.

It is better to kill them off at an early age and take care of the problem with a huge saving in public healthcare outlay.

Dada,

and I think the northern parts of Kerala, north of Kochi, centring in the hilly belt off Kannur and Kozhikode, is the best healthcare ambience in India.

Why so? Isnt the Southern part of Kerala more prosperous?

Or export them in shiploads to the Gelf ....

P.S. OT @Joe Shearer but I miss the days when leaders like Jyoti Basu took pride in wearing the immaculate dhoti.

Cheers, Doc
