What's new

Concerned Indian Parliamentarian questions China's road construction, asks "Did we blink?"

Sure or silently pissing in their pants and then withdraw?
Wait, didn't India say that Donglang is 100% Bhutan's territory, and therefore India had to uphold their mutual defence treaty with Bhutan?

But suddenly they don't mind Chinese soldiers and garrisons there on a permanent basis?

And neither side has officially said anything about a road, all China said is we will continue to exercise our sovereign rights over the area, which means we can build whatever we want.
It's Bhutans land and is claimed by China ,when Bhutans army confronts Chinese army and if they need help Indian army will be around to help.
Regarding the road, the main reason for the stand off.the govt of India has to answer if the road will be constructed and the first question it will be asked will be about the road.you can expect the govt response to it's people and opposition in couple of days.

I hope you guys too will ask about the road to the Chinese govt and get an answer.:welcome:

By unilaterally withdrawing from Donglang, India is essentially depending on China's "good will" to stop constructing the road.

How did that turn out in CPEC and the South China Sea? :P

And yet when Chinese troops are present, you still withdrew? I thought you were supposed to defend them? Aren't you a hero? When big guns come in, you just ran like cow wards. Sure, my bet is China did not agree to anything, the first precondition to talks was a unilateral withdrawal, you just did that. Now if you want some talks, you can talk, we will just continue building the road while we talk.

Good will or no will ,the bottom line no road quote me if there is change in it.

I am not sure what has CPEC has to do here any way we have full confidence in China and Pakistan ,already they are wondering how to make the payment in March next year, give it 5-6 years they will realize what they got into and see the Pakistanies reaction to Chinese.
You get them into something of strategic importance to China making them believe economic development and spend on your strategic importance and make them pay back with interest and assured returns.
Bro I hope you stand up to their expectations otherwise you have one more nuclear state as your enemy :yahoo:

Ready my above post, quote me when their is a road or when the govt of India comes up with a statement on the road, the main reason for Indian troops to enter the land and stop the Chinese

There is already a half completed road there, not a single scratch to it. Btw, ring me when India has the balls to fight China.

So India no longer wants to use unarmed, hand-holding soldiers in a human chain to stop China's road construction, now you are depending on the weather?

Well, China can build very fast. Skyscrapers come out of nowhere in only a few months, what is a road?
Modular construction of road doesn't happen, that too in Himalayan topography. Add to that life cycle of road is short in areas of high precipitation and snowfall. :D

The bottom line is that India has already withdrawn, Chinese troops are still in Donglang, and China has promised ZERO concessions in return.

Indeed China official statement is that China asked India to withdraw unconditionally prior any discussion and that's not a negotiation, Both side probably don't want to make an explicite statement regarding of how this end because one side will seriously get hurt if the true is been exposed.

India asked China to stop construction on CPEC because they believe Kashmir is Indian territory.

How did that work out?

China said No talk till India withdraws. How did that work out ?

We did haven't you been checking your phone for last three months.:omghaha:.atleast believe your CCP when they told you India entered your land dugout the road.

India asked China to stop construction on CPEC because they believe Kashmir is Indian territory.

How did that work out?
It's like you asking us to stop drilling in scs and we continue doing it.

By the way do ask CCP about the road , will ya

Considering that India just withdrew all their troops from Donglang (while Chinese troops are still patrolling there), I've gotta say, it worked out pretty well. :P

LOL...... but you realize that you DID talk to us first when we called you bluff and then we withdraw after china was forced to address our concern and make necessary "adjustments" :P

IF this is your "victory" then I say may you continue to have more such victories :D

So, where is THE ROAD?
Can any Chinese let us Bharathis know what happened to THE ROAD?

Since Indians have withdrawn, have the communists found their gotis and have started building THE ROAD?
:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

Its not an editorial peice but also he was first journo to report about Doklam in the world.
Anyways:

Sieg Heil

chinese and Bhutanese can patrol as its disputed between two countries and it has been case before this incident . India intervened to stop your illegal road construction on land claimed by Bhutan and china, do u understand what it means?

do u understand what it means?

Oh they all do understand what happened yesterday, very well.
It's not like they are dumb or anything.

Because they know they have been exposed by the complete and abject surrender of China, they are now twisting to save their narrative.

All we need to ask them is....'where is THE ROAD chinese? where is THE ROAD?'

:rofl::rofl::rofl:
