:lol::lol:

More rumors.

Neither side has officially mentioned anything about the road.

Which means India is relying on China's "goodwill" to stop building the road, which worked out so well with CPEC and the South China Sea.

We are enforcing the agreement not through good will but our military might and military superiority in the region

We have a permanent base just 2 km from Doklam which means we can spank your troops and destroy your bulldozers just like we did last time if you even attempt to begin construction.:)

What agreement exactly? Can you tell us? Spank us and yet you retreated? Like a cow ward?

And why do you think that China has not mentioned anything about road construction?
The irony is, China ate Crow this time but literally that is quite normal!

China has officially offered ZERO concessions.

The Indian side has already withdrawn, and Chinese troops are still patroling the area.

Which means India is depending on China's "good will" to stop building the road, which worked out really well for CPEC and the South China Sea.

India opposed construction, not their troops being there. There had been Chinese troops long before India started protesting & India hadn't bothered.

So where is this 'agreement'? Why isn't MEA shouting it out loud like always?

Advantage or disadvantage of having a working democracy..... Which none of our adversaries has to bother...

I am sure there is some mutually accepted agreement which can satisfy both parties. So the troop withdrawal happened.Obviously that includes halting construction.
Diplomatic victory for India & two months hue & cry for Chinese & their pupped media houses.

Wait, so India doesn't have a problem with Chinese troops being there?

I thought India said it was 100% Bhutan's territory, and that they had a mutual defence treaty to protect Bhutan?

Look at the official statements from both countries, NEITHER side mentioned anything about a road.

Which means, by withdrawing their soldiers, India is depending on China's "good will" to stop building the road. Which worked out so well with CPEC and the South China Sea. :P

BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese military will remain vigilant and firmly defend national territory and sovereignty following a military stand-off between China and India, a military spokesperson said Monday.

"Peace and stability along China-India border concerns regional peace and stability and accords with the common interests of the two peoples," said Wu Qian, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense.

India has withdrawn its personnel and equipment from Dong Lang (Doklam) after the stand-off that lasted more than two months.

"We remind India to draw lessons from the stand-off, abide by established treaties and the basic principles of international law, and work together with China to safeguard peace and stability along the border and promote the healthy development of the two militaries," he said.

The spokesperson said that the Chinese military is confident and capable of safeguarding national sovereignty, safety and the interests of development. It is also confident and capable of making a bigger contribution to world peace.

The bottom line is that India has already withdrawn, Chinese troops are still in Donglang, and China has promised ZERO concessions in return.
most probably both sides reached out to an understanding...Dhoklam for NSG support!!
