PAF JF-17 Shoots Down UAV from Iran

Pakistan should have no problems with Iran hunting Baloch extremists in Pakistan.

Pakistan knows itself that it does not want to invest into improving border security with Iran. Anyone not believing this can turn on google maps and see the border region; for every Pakistani border fort there are 5 Iranian ones in between.
It's still not enough to secure the border so Pakistan should have no issues with Iranian UAVs tracking terrorists in the border region, more so because Baloch islamists are not in Pakistani interest.
So if Iran is ready to clean the area, while Pakistan can concentrate on its eastern border, why should they interrupt Irans efforts and destroy an helpful asset like a MALE UAV? Pakistan had no problems either with US drones cleaning the extremists to its north and they were not just doing surveillance.

It should have been a silent, friendly understanding, between Pakistan and Iran. However judging from the timing, a certain interest group, an anti-Iranian one, wanted to stop it.
It's perfectly in Pakistani interest that Iran spend the resources to secure the western borders so that Pakistan can invest everything to it crucial east, profiting for free from the additional surpassing of Baloch extremists.

However now that the rules of engagement are changed, both will loose for no real reason...
Saudis and CIA will benefit only by arming up Baloch islamists as proxy against Iran, creating a potential future problem for Pakistan...

We are treating this as a bilateral issue between Pakistan and Iran. So keep it at that before you bring in Uncle Sam, the Sauds or your favorite past time the Zionists.
Let their be no second doubt about that. And it is to your own profit that you lose the 'should' and condescending attitude before it comes back to haunt you. And we have a rules of engagement policy with Americans with shared intelligence something which i gather is not true with the Iranians or there is a lack of trust on both sides.

I will refrain from using your post and just analyze the issue with your arguments.

Maybe the reason why Pakistan has only 1 post per 5 Iranian post is that our population in the province of Balochistan are happier or content and thus we do not have a policing issue there? You have your problems in that region of your own making so deal with them as you may see fit without blatant act of provocation and breach of sovereignty.

And a question? by saying Pakistan does not want to invest in that region because we want to focus on the east are you implying that the Iranians see the border with Pakistan with the same intent Pakistan sees the border with India? You can make an official statement on that and we will have no problem with that as well.

I recommend you both to turn on google maps and take a look at that region.

Its very poor and underdeveloped on both sides of the border (so much about happy people...).

Just that Iran spends on border security while Pakistan saves their resources for that and spends it elsewhere.

Do you even know what a drone is capable off....besides did you miss the statics which appear on the screen.
No UAV except quadcopter are capable of hovering.
And Pakistan does not have MQ-8 or other chopper drones.
The star ice on screens are that of typical border surveillance system.

And I recommend you to respect your neighbors.

If it is poor than Iran should invest in infrastructure and not security. Be practical and logical in approach and drop the act.

Pakistan considers you as a friendly nation, i do not understand your jealousy that our eastern borders get more attention. Attention seekers are not respected in state politics.

Are you that naïve?
Does Iran gives a hoot about what you expect? They didn't bothered to straighten their act when they were under UN/US sanctions and a half of the western world itching to put them in their right place. There is a reason the world calls them axis of evil and these mullahs don't have the common sense to understand how not to piss the world. They have been hostile towards Pakistan, helping/ allowing India to interfere in Baluchistan from within Iran, stirring and supporting sectarian violence in Pakistan.

They understand only one language, and I can understand the pain of so called Pakistanis living in Pakistan but defending/supporting Irani mullahs. Iran is the biggest nuisance in Islamic world, fingering Islamic countries only. I'll fully support if Israel nukes them to oblivion.

No wonder idiots like you fail to see the larger picture.

What i expect is to resolve the issue in a manner so that we dont have another hostile neighbor. I am amazed at the shortsightedness of many here. Tell me something can Pakistan afford to have another hostile neighbor in this moment in time when we already have two?
For some reason all this bravado is somehow not seen when it comes to the US who regularly bombs our territory and makes a mockery out of our sovereignty but suddenly kicks in when it was Iran and that too now? Is it really so hard to connect dots?

Iran and Pakistan respect each other as neighbor.

None of them has enough resources to develop Balochestan and it's basically only Iran that spends money on security there.

In this situation there used to be a silent understanding between both neighbors that Iran gets some space for maneuvering to establish border security.

But suddenly it seems some Saudi influenced group broke that silent understanding. This has only negative results for both countries...

Pakistan was not that strict about sovereignty in Waziristan and it should be less so in Balochistan border region because its not investing in border security there.
I have no time for useless talk, start google maps and see how the region is and compare it with the eastern border...

Bro,

Try us you will see reply i promise you will have many sleepless night in tehran :) i THINK YOU ARE NOT READING OUR ARMY CHIEF STATEMENT IN THIS REGARD when he met your envoy never compare USA with iran USA is superpower iran comes under pakistan we are the BOSS here so be in your limits.

Dilemma for Pakistan is that, whenever Iran bomb Pakistani villages, we are never sure if it was Indian army in Iran or IRGC, pressing the buttons.
Indian Army in Iran can only b there if Iran wants them to be,. just like kalbhosan yadav,. its not the Indians become supermen in Iran and become invisible. They have proper Iran's supp to do any action inside Pak territory..

Liberal person should have liberal government. Your governors are hardly dependent on USA and Saudi Arabia. A liberal Pakistani would admit it sir.

Americans are free to kill your civilians and you cannot respond directly, the military loans and hand out from American side makes you dependent and silent over their mass murder in Pakistan.

You are being paid by UAE and KSA to keep that boundary hot for Iran. Whether you believe it or not, Pakistan cannot behave with independence.

Pakistani side made that boundary hot with two actions :
1) Allowing UAE and KSA, USA's lackeys, to invest in terrorism in Balochistan region.
2) Downing Iranian drone.

Sir i have an analyse about this incident. Please enlighten my points if they were wrong. Thanks in advance.
1) Pakistani side downed Iranian drone while USA did the same in Syria. Well i can see a coordination between them. And it is not a new sth, they have already done it in Afghanistan. FIY sir, Pakistan before the collapse of Soviets organized Taliban, right or wrong i don't care, they destroyed Afghanistan with USA's commands.
We are facing with USA's stooge in our neighborhood IMO.
2) I have done a distance measuring in Google map, please take a look at this :
They downed the drone claiming it had violated their airspace

Please notice the 5 Km could be human/GPS/INS error.
It could be easily ignored, these guys in Pakistan are happy with terrorists on those boundaries, trying to cut Iran's hands in fighting ISIS and Jundullah who swore allegiance to ISIS.
All Iran should do is deploying air force in those boundaries and counter their threat.
Morever for 10 years they have refute negotiations about terrorism in Balochistan region.
We are already on the edge of nuclear weapons, without any compliments we must make decisions.
drone was downed to see what you were watching from skies , what was your nefarious designs and collection of intelligence in this regard now iran in shame as pakistan exactly knew what you were doing in that area with UAV thanks intel collected from debris :)

Well Take this Drone Incident as a Warning we need Long Range SAMS ASAP yes we have money issues but still we need them to be deployed before Iran Send their 6th Generation Qaher-313

U think that model can fly :yahoo:

It is the same routine. First try your luck and then play the victim card. We have seen it before and we will continue to do so, its just our tolerance are prone to be exhausted sooner or later.

And please do not talk liberal form of government specially if you are from Iran and Saudi Arabia. I consider this as an insult and i cannot tolerate this. Pakistan and Pakistani nation are not liberal but moderate and modest. These two things are our best strength and remain a fascination or a dream for other Muslim majority countries.

Regarding your theory about American drone attacks. We have a working relation with America on this for strategic and technological reasons for which we are not answerable to any other nation.

And it is quite baffling for you to say Pakistan has intention of making that border hot when you are breaching its airspace.

If you rely on google maps for your strategic diplomatic opinions then i wish you all the best.
