'Welcome Home, India's Daughter': Woman Forced To Marry Pak Man Returns

My brother is a Practicing Hindu and my SIL is a practicing Muslim...They are happily married for the last 8 years with 2 kids..both practice their individual beliefs...My bro did undergo a lot of resistance from his in-laws at that time to convert..he stood his ground..and rest is history..so yes Rab ne Bana di Jodi...Both the kids are only taught the good aspects of Islam and Hinduism..I think we humans are sensible enough to follow our conscience and not get trapped. Humans like everything else in this world should be progressive...Just like everything in this world. If that was not the case why be selective in what is non negotiable in change. Change and progress is what makes human superior to other beings...No!
I second to what you are pinning down here, in fact at some occasion I too expressed my views in similar tone but there is big but.
Have you ever ponder over why it was just ur Brother's in laws wanted your brother to convert not, yours to your SIL ?
Have you wonder how young guys from developed countries fighting for ISIS , abandoning their luxurious life ?
Have you ever contemplated, under which obligation these ppl are very bound to behave like this ?

It's in simple plain black & white to see,no matter how voiceferously one want to defend it by citing contemporary practices.

To me, ideal situation would have been, both have dissolved themselves in each other's faith, making perfect integration of two different belief systems, making every belief coherent to their lifestyle, upbring their future generations in the same way. That would have given a true meaning to thier knot(Not crticising them though).

Uzma Ahmed, the Indian woman who was allegedly forced to marry a Pakistani man at gunpoint during her visit there, called Pakistan a "well of death" while narrating her ordeal on her return on Thursday.

Seated with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Indian Deputy High Commissioner in Islamabad J P Singh, and other senior ministry officials, an emotional Uzma said, "It's easy to enter Pakistan but nearly impossible to leave that place."

It's easy to go to Pak, but tough to return. Pakistan is a 'well of death'. Even those who go there after arrange marriage are crying: Uzma pic.twitter.com/v0EOBuVYWV

"Pakistan is a 'maut ka kuan' (well of death). I've seen women who go there after arranged marriages. They're miserable and living in terrible condition. There are two, three, even four wives in every house," she said.

She said 'Buner', the area where Tahir, the Pakistani man who married her at gunpoint, took her after giving her sleeping pills, was like a "Taliban-controlled" region. Uzma said had she stayed there for a few more days she would have been dead.

She broke down several times while recalling the horror in front of the national media. She profusely thanked Swaraj, Indian mission officials and other staffers for making her comfortable and ensuring her return. Uzma, who is in her early 20s, hails from New Delhi.

She was allowed by the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday to return to India following a plea she filed with the court seeking its direction after her husband Tahir Ali "seized" her immigration papers and refused to return the document.

Jinnah took away and carved a country out of your belly, for Muslims to live in peace and eat beef, and call for prayers in total freedom and safety, so why are you welcoming back a Muslim, who might disturb your open defecation in peace? Oh I forget you lot are used to diarrhea from both ends. Enjoy your shit.

Yea, maybe that way at least the will not get lynched for even enjoying their diet.
We would believe Indian Muslims who have been to Pakistan more than a staunch Pakistani nationalist like you. You obviously will give a biased picture.

Sorry to rain on your parade, Pakistani media didn't exactly capture images from the Indian side.

Off course you would believe one individual in limelight....since thousands of Sikhs who visit Pakistan each year must be affiliated with Khalistan movement...not to mention other Muslims who also visit.
This is the height of Indian desperation.
