What's new

targetted strike on Jamat ul ahrar camp done

No source for this you are stating your wishes as news. Paksitan army can't enter there in Afghanistan they can't cross as this will be considered against our defensive approach and international laws that we follow. Our approach is to defend not to attack outside our territory..Don't exaggerate be realistic pls
lol I am not stating my wishes the new takes sometime to get publish my mistake is telling you before hand but I think you have a habit learning it late so please wait for media to publish but it will be there and also you will see a protest from Afghan Gov because Pak forces have no plan of returning for now.

Army Chief is doing fine as our COAS. He is focusing on the real issues - the biggest one being the terrorism sponsored by hostile countries by using Afghan puppets and Afghan soil. Strategically speaking, the cross border raids, I think, reflect a sea-deep change. You cannot do that just out of the blue. You need to plan and provide logistics and and deal with international powers and take them on board. but he is not going to oblige idiots like you (neither he has time to do that) by destabilizing the system. The bullshi! like yours should end now. Let the nation concentrate on real issues rather than distracting it with imaginary issues created by sycophants like you.
System is just to save Nawaz..

Ok i will accept my mistake if it is confirmed and will be happy to see this..

So what?

I would rather give a damn to panama leaks (and that selfish idiot IK for that matter) as we have other crucial threats to our very existence. If Musharraf and Zardari could not find any thing against NS, let the next government (whenever it comes to power) try getting NS into jail. Any sensible person in this nation is not dying for that. But at this point, we need to defeat the hostile international players that want to contain China regardless if Pakistan disintegrates in the process. We not only have to save ourselves at any cost but rather bleed the enemy to death.

IIRC after Karachi airport and APS incidents strikes happened inside Afghanistan but were not officially acknowledged. Same will happen now. If we acknowledge these attacks India would use it to justify attack on Pak territory after a false flag in Kashmir.
India cannot do it. We are not afghanistn. We will retaliate strongly.

But neither we are able to save our-self nor succeeded in bleeding enemy..Its other way around..

I agree with you...But neither we are able to save our-self nor succeeded in bleeding enemy..Its other way around..
You keep crying. We keep supporting our government (including armed forces, LEAs, etc.) for doing whatever we can to defeat our enemy. We may be short of resources and reach as the enemy might have but we have the required endurance, stamina, and resolve to defeat the enemy. We have done that in Afghanistan not once but rather twice.

So, asking questions to those in authority is not allowed ?That is why we are here..
endurance, stamina, and resolve =So resilience is being brought back..

i believe if Hafiz Saeed was given to India at time of 26/11, the situation between India-Pak-Afghan would be much less.

Its ISI fault for looking after him as well as other terrorists like Osama Bin Laden.
Oh so you are acknowledging that the blood in pakistan is just because of this ?By the way your EX-Army chief and NSA already said that to use proxies against Pak

That's where the problem lie..neither you are Americans nor we are Afghans..it's a different story altogether when it comes to US Pak relations. Check entire Indo Pak history since 1947...we both are involved in such cat and mouse games. Your top leadership has openly admitted about supporting proxies against Pakistan not only back in 1971 but also recently in Baluchistan...so have some courage to admit your own faults for making South Asia a potential weapon dump yard....!! People on both sides are suffering heavily, they need water, sanitation, education, jobs and what not ....stop making childish, foolish accusations. These things are not gonna settle overnight. Will take decades probably.

I am not trying to undermine the success that Turkey achieved in its quest to curb terrorism in the region. Maybe i used the wrong words. The point i was trying to make was that terrorist attacks in Turkey were happening before and after Euphrates shield as well. Turkey clearing Al bab or Pakistan clearing Kunar would not result into the eliminating of terror attacks inside Turkey or Pakistan, until or unless we take concrete actions against the local collaborates and facilitators.

Nah man its just okay but I wanted to point out the difference. On a sidenote, per my experience I find OES as not successful despite the fact that the chief of staff announced the capture of Al-Bab. Political pressure doesn't help wars, it makes it worse. Thats what happens in OES.

As for the topic, targeted strikes can help with if the intelligence is highly precise. Knowing ISI's capabilities, that does not seem to be a problem to track down bomb makers and recruiters.

Artillery is the best option to use it is a mountainous terrain and Artillery is very effective. Pakistan has killed 300 plus terrorists in Pakistan and in Afghanistan and till now there is not a single casualty sustained why? Because they chose a good strategy to execute the operation. The point of this operation was to seek and kill. In Kunar attack there were ground troops and air strikes were used and we killed the 2nd in command of Jamaat ul Ahrar now we are going after the head of the snake.
Pakistan needs to "Act Like Nuclear Power",
meaning power projection.
There is a time and place to do a thing. Since Pakistan unable to create opportunity nature gave us opportunities albeit at a "heavy price", first APS, then Sehwan.
Now use air strikes and hit them hard. Internation opinion on Pak side and Pak is justified to eliminate the cross border terrorists and masterminds.
Unfortunately these are political decisions which NS Govt can't fathom to understand and take and army has too limited approach.

Someone named narey was killed. Both khalid khorasani and fazlul are alive and enjoying life with RAW and NDS goons

Pakistan army can't enter in afghanistan. When APS was not enough reason then nothing else can be.Same as 2 days back we made call to US commander and asked for cooperation..How many paksitanis are dying as compared to Indians ? May be after a month 2-3 indian soldiers will die again..But we are dying in 100 and 1000 so clearly RAW is winner in last decade

Your rants are childish to say the least, the cost of sustaining an attack inside Afghanistan alone will bring our economy to its knees. Type of terrain in most parts of Afghanistan makes it virtually impossible for an aggressor to take a strong hold, look what happened to the British, the Russians and the Americans, Pakistan does not even have their type of financial muscle to keep troops fighting inside Afghanistan. This issue is besides the international sanctions and the fact that India will take the opportunity to engage a weakened Pak Army on the Eastern border.

Let the Army do what they are doing, they know it best. Unfortunately, our geographic location is the worse thing that could have happened to us. I wish at the time of partition it was India which was bordering Afghanistan and Pakistan was on the eastern side.

India would love nothing more than a boots on the ground invasion of Afghanistan by Pakistani soldiers sucking us into a Vietnam like situation. Afghanistan is a very very difficult country to invade. There are better ways to deal with this and I assure you there are people at the top who are just as pissed off as we are. They are Pakistanis too and they know who the enemy is and how to deal with them. Unfortunately the 'Great Game' has moved out of Afghanistan and is now in Pakistan as well. The entire World's focus is on this region. Pakistan has to be smart, not emotional.

Hi,
How was your personal experience serving with Turkish armed forces?
Are you still serving or left?

After Week of Unrelenting Attacks on Mainland, Pakistan Strikes "Terror Camps" in Afghanistan

By Wajahat S. Khan

ISLAMABAD: A senior Pakistan Army officer has confirmed that at least six different "terrorist camps" on the Afghan side of the Af-Pak border were targeted and destroyed yesterday and overnight by Pakistani artillery.

According to the source, who asked not to be named, all the camps were located within 100 to 200 meters across the border, on the Afghan side, and most of them were affiliated with or belonged to the Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Jamaat-ul-Ahraar (TTP-JA), an ISIS-loyalist Pakistani Taliban splinter group that has claimed responsibility for most of the terror attacks in mainland Pakistan this past week.

"Six camps, all on the Khyber and Mohmand tribal agency axis, including the one in Lalpura belonging to Adil Bacha, the deputy commander of the Jamaat-ul-Ahraar, have been engaged, neutralized and dismantled overnight by our gunners," said the officer.

Dozens have been killed in terror attacks this past week in all four of Pakistan's provinces, including an attack on an 800-year old shrine in Sehwan Sharif on Thursday that killed over 80, and is being categorized as the biggest terror attack in the country since the Peshawar Army Public School massacre in 2014 that killed over 150.

Jamaat-ul-Ahaar elements claimed that attack too, and have been publishing videos and threats to strike Pakistan since then. The TTP-JA are believed to be headquartered in the Afghan provinces of Kunar and Nangarhar, according to several military assessments and statements released since the Peshawar massacre, and have conducted various attacks on Pakistani territory since moving across the border from local bases after the launch of a massive counter-insurgency operation, Operation Zarb-e-Azab, by the Pakistanis in 2014-15.

Last night's actions followed the unprecedented closure of all major Af-Pak border crossings by Pakistan on Friday, as well as a meeting between Pakistani generals and Afghan officials (the military said a list of over 70 militants was handed to the Afghans to take action immediate action against) and phone calls between Pakistan's senior-most diplomat, Sartaj Aziz, and the Afghan National Security Adviser, Hanif Atmar. Also, the attacks follow the Pakistan army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa's phone call to to US General John Nicholson, Commander of Mission Resolute Support in Afghanistan. A military statement qouted Bajwa telling Nicholson that that the "impunity of attacks" from Afghanistan-based terror groups is "testing [Pakistan's] current policy of cross border restraint".

About the Pakistani army's actions, the military source told me that "the terror camps in Afghanistan indicated a clear and present danger to Pakistan, and as nothing was being done about them by Afghan or western forces on that side of the border, we had to take the matter up ourselves."

However, no air assets were used in the strikes. A senior officer of the Pakistan Air Force told me, while asking not to be named, that "there are clear plans to strike terrorist targets in Afghanistan, but we don't have the green light yet."

Another Pakistan Air Force pilot, who is stationed in an F-16 squadron in Jacobabad, said, on the basis of anonymity: "There's a lot of anger, and we are ready to go, have been training to go, but they won't let us go yet" in to Afghanistan.

However, several senior military officials made said that despite of the pressure from within the military as well as from the public and media, the Pakistani military will not use air power in Afghanistan as it could set a new and dangerous military precedent in South Asia.

For years, Pakistan and Afghanistan have traded barbs and blamed each other for not doing enough about the militant groups based on their own territory. Kabul says groups affiliated with the Afghan Taliban, like the Haqqani Network, use Pakistani soil and protection to strike in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Islamabad claims that groups associated with the Pakistani Taliban, like Jamaat-ul-Ahraar, enjoy safe havens in Afghanistan and are funded by Afghan intelligence and its allies, like Indian and US intelligence services.

But in America and Pakistan's longest war, the involvement of a nuclear-armed Islamic state's regular military operating on Afghan soil could be a signature of a new level of escalation.

WSK is a reliable journalist, at first he was denying these attacks in his tweet but after confirmation from his sources, he wrote this article. One of my sources stationed at the border also confirmed aswel , told me that JMA is now the most lethal threat for our forces and they have several "Launching pad camps" that act as their Forward operating bases and rendezvous points .
