Law Enforcement forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran displayed their hostage-release skills in a counter-terrorism drill in central city of Isfahan on Saturday.

Training is what matters, not equipment. For example, Saudi Arabia on paper sounds like it should be able to cripple the Houthis in any ground war, but recent events have proved otherwise.

Sorry bro i disagree .. Training without a Proper gear and Equipment will not do much in modern Warfare's .. The Terrorists are now Revolutionizing their ways to attack and hold hostages , either you like it or not but Modern equipment are needed to perform Specialized task to minimize the Casualties .

I am not very Good at Gears and Equipment , plus if they are just a Police special force than i would say its ok for such force ..

So you make a comment saying they need more "special equipment" but you can't name one? What do you see in those pictures that you think the Iranian police forces you're referring to need?
They are the police special forces, they are equipped very well. They are the police, not the military.

As other member have said, most important aspect is the training in which Iranian police are one of top. Why do you think despite their constant attempt to cause problems in Iran, the likes of ISIS and other takfiris have failed time and again but succeed in other nations? The proficiency of the Iranian intelligence- Military and police is the answer. And of course they're armed well too.

they did nothing good Against NATO or any Proper Armed Forces , What these Cowards Taliban did was send young boys by covering them with Bombs and Suicide Jackets , and set up Ambushes etc , bring them in open fight and you will see what a Proper trained with special Gear Soldier can do with those Salwaar kameez Carrying ak Stupid Terrorists ..

Yes they did, they defended their homeland from the occupying force and continue to fight their puppets, don't believe the propaganda NATO puts out about them using human shields and what not.
