Damn.... I never knew about that. Thanks for that share. So apparently if they stop like 20% of the our water anytime as stated by some Indian members here, then its for that moment but they have to open the spillways in any case as there is no storage capacity. Also in case of flooding they have no liberty at stopping the water.

Exactly. Even for using that 20% it would take years before they are able to use that 20%.

Also India can't do much with River Indus which is the biggest river of Pakistan. The most indians can meddle with is Chenab river. Whatever Indians would built on jhelum river would be extremely close to LOC and Pakistani territory.

There are implemented rules and there would be massive opposition in-case of such misadventure though is nothing but a hype to calm the people otherwise, rather than sanctions on Pakistan, we will be seeing his run from here to their.
