I don't like ethnic drum-beating much So much regionalism makes me sad Pakistan was supposed to be a melting pot of different cultures with unity in diversity We were just one of the many ethnicities there Without the Pakistan Movement you would never have achieved this sovereign land of yours which you are so proud of Before displaying ethnic pride remember it was all our Muslim brothers and sisters in the subcontinent who fought together to achieve the Muslim nation You wilfully forget the pre 1947 condition of Muslims in Bengal How backward we were kept by the zamindars and Bengali Hindu upper class How we were tortured How they considered us inferior for eating beef and refused to share food and water called us kangals Plz read those

I have been called Kangal and miskeen by Pakistanis more than any Indian in this forum. Also you should ask your punjabi brothers what do they think about Machli eating Kala Bangali Admi.

1. It let Kolkata go to India fearing that Kolkata would become the capital of Pakistan. Also larger population of East Pakistan would have become influential than West. For the very same reason Kashmir became important because it was on the West.

2. Every time Bengalis gained power in Pakistan it eliminated the government at the first chance. Khaja Nazimuddin doesn't count as he was not a bengali

3. Murder of innocent people in the night of 25th March including Teachers Police officers and Bengali Army officers
