What's new

Iran to buy planes from Mitsubishi

Iran sold out Russia and China, and keep buying from SK and Japan.

Both are lapdog nations for the US, People in Iran keep bashing Chinese , and millions Chinese people known what the true face from Iran right now .China refused Iran to Join SCO recently !!!

Americans cheated once again isn't Russia and China 's business anymore, you are on your own now !

Good luck to Iran!

It is a global economy based on the free market, and we don't have any right to enforce our will on other people.

BTW, China didn't block the SCO membership for Iran.

Why don't you guys 1st sell us your J-11, J-16 and J-20 fighter jets then we can talk about who sold how out!!

China has refused to sell Iran fighter jets that we badly needed and now you wanna talk about us selling you out!!

China could have easily sold Iran 100's of fighters but they were afraid of what U.S. may do!
I don't think China has yet to realize how much power it truly has

China is practically the only country in the world that shouldn't be afraid of U.S. Sanctions! China is the only country in the world who could have responded to U.S. sanctions with sanctions of it's own who would have devastated U.s. economy

Even right now it's China who is blocking Iran's bid for SCO

China needs to grow some b.......

What happened to R150

- Although J-11 right now is completely indigenous with the Chinese avionics/radar and engine, but it still does look like Su-27 by outer appearance, and our Russian friends won't be too happy about it. The J-10 right now starts to fly with the WS-10, but we still need 1-2 years to make it becomes completely mature in compatibility with the WS-10 like the J-11.

- Of course, we could devastate the US economy, but our own economy would also become devastated along with the rest of the world. This is the economic MAD, same with the nuclear MAD, we couldn't act trigger happy.

BTW, China always wants to offer Iran some gadgets, but we haven't heard any demand from Iran so far.

You should frame it like, J-11 is Chinese name for Su-27 with indigenous electronic compoents. Not it look alike Su-27. :P

Anyway China can try selling J10 to Iran. But Israel might not be happy

The aerodynamic frame for the J-11 was based on Su-27.

And J-10 has nothing to do with Israel, it was just a convergent design.

Even Reuters says the same! China blocked Iran...

That's what I mean! It's clear you guy's still don't fully appreciate and have yet to realize the power that you have! Yes it would be MAD and mutually assured destruction! The difference is the U.S. has clearly come to understand this MAD sword they possess and the Americans wave it around with no fear because they also know that the Chinese have yet to truly realize and appreciate their own strength. Americans are neither mad nor suicidal they don't even go to war against countries that may have the slightest chance of doing serious harm to their interests let alone....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying China was obligated to do so but if China had put its foot down in terms of Iran's nuclear deal & SCO membership the U.S. would have backed down. Fact is, your never going to win a game of chicken when have yet to realize, appreciate and be confident in your own true strengths!

In my opinion, the absolute only reason China refused Iran's application to the SCO goes back to the same issue and the Chinese leadership stands aside and watches as NATO continues it's expansion! Although both organizations are nothing alike but still it's an organization that would have no doubt increased the ties and alliance between the two countries who stand today as the worlds top two fastest growing countries in science and technology.

Take a good look at the U.S., they have worked overtime to make their major partners in every strategic chock point of the world as powerful as possible!
Israeli's in the Mediterranean right off the Suez Canal
Turkey off the Black Sea and control over any ship attempting to maneuver in and out...
Saudi Arabia with control over the Red Sea and if they succeed in Yamen they have Bab-al Mandab & the Gulf of Aden
South Korea right off the Yellow Sea
etc, etc,

They lost Iran but with Iran came control over the Caspian Sea and Persian Gulf and now they are attempting to counter it at least in the Persian Gulf with arming and helping to bring economic prosperity to tiny Gulf states like the UAE...

Now does this make the U.S. an evil country? NO! not by any means! It just makes them a smart country not willing to give up the wealth and awesome MAD sword that they possess and most other countries if given the opportunity would have done the same if not worse

Point being, U.S. power lies not only in it's own military superiority but also in the economic and military strength and power of it's allies and that is the major edge the U.S. has over China.

Reuter wants to make propaganda, since they don't want to see that Iran to get along with China.

China has to no reason to deny the SCO membership of Iran.

Last month, the South China Sea almost went off between the standoff of the US and China.

Who knows, maybe the WWIII is just around the corner, but it is not going to be fun, and the magnitude is going to be multiple folds on that of the WWII.

When the US used to beat the USSR, they didn't start the WWIII, but to win without firing a bullet.

Its still Russian design, and I doubt you can export it without paying royalty. Reg J10 , its a wide known rumour Lavi later become improved Lavi aka J10. I am not discounting the efforts of Chinese engineers in developing an partially develepod aircraft with own engines/avionics.

Get real! Chinese J-10 has nothing to do with Israeli Levi! The U.S. F-15 also resembles the MiG-25 so what? that doesn't mean the Russians helped the U.S. to build the F-15!
To top that off the Israeli Levi it's self was nothing more than an F-16 with modified wing and canard designs It was no more true Israeli technology than Iran's Saegheh or Azarakhsh fighters

Plus Saab was the 1st company to produce a forward canard design NOT Israel!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_37_Viggen

And the Israelis didn't even produce the aircraft! They only built 3 prototypes that means they didn't even build a production model for the aircraft to be Israeli technology

The U.S. is just trying to scare China! I promise you if China was to stands it's ground nothing would happen!
I believe this to be nothing more than a strategy to get China to doubt it's self, it's strength and it's power!

If the U.S. was to take out a single Chinese warship it will be open season on every U.S. ship and Chinese subs will have a filed day with them.... Fact is China has a MAD sword of it's own if China doesn't want to be bullied then maybe it's time they unharness it and start waving it around too... U.S. is not suicidal and neither is China but the fact is if you don't stand your ground you will be bullied!

As for SCO you may be correct it could be propaganda against China.... Only time will tell!

The Cold War 2.0 has already started albeit a bit different from the Cold War 1.0.

Of course, we know they are bluffing, but we also know they want to disrupt our development.

The time is on our side, the longer they wait, the stronger China becomes.

Also, China always wants to help Iran in its military modernization, but the Iranian leadership seems to be more familiar with the Russian weapons than the Chinese one.

Indeed, China was planning to purchase the early warning systems from Israel back in the mid 1990s, but the deal got derailed by the Clinton administration.

Yet those right-wing rednecks always accuse Bill Clinton of selling the military technologies to China, so much irony.

Over 99% of China's success came from China's own hard work, yet those white supremacists in the west never willing to acknowledge this fact.

I think the only way the U.S. can push China back is through the same tactic they used during the Cold War 1.0 Take a look around, the U.S. has made every strategically located ally an economic and military power and such campaigns is exactly why they placed over 30 years of sanctions against Iran and helped Saddam in Iran's destruction to show that if your not allied with the U.S. you will never prosper and become an economic or military power but in Iran's case Iran fought back threw education and domestic industrial developments.

I believe that's how the U.S. won the Cold War 1.0. Most USSR allies were economically weak and poor while U.S. allies economically prosperous and during Cold War 1.0 they used Germany to point out that fact very clearly to every country in the world. The difference in quality of life in East vs West Germany was like night and day and in the end that very fact is why the Russians lost the cold war.

And I believe they plan on using the same tactic for Cold War 2.0 and I believe they have been planning and working on this for over 60 years since the Korean War and they will use examples like N.Korea vs South Korea and Hong Kong to discourage strong economic and military alliances with China. And another side effect of such policies is the lost of great minds and scientists who move to western countries for the promise of better economic prosperity....

But at the end of the day, I believe the U.S. will have no problem tolerating a militarily strong China as they tolerate a military strong Russia but what they will not tolerate is a China with strong military and economic alliances with countries that are strategically located throughout the world & (or) possess strategic natural reserves.

As for their hubris & arrogant disrespect, they have the same attitude towards Iran. But fact is, that is a weakness because they continue to underestimate both of our countries.
Their hubris made them think they could just fly their RQ-170 at will over Iran something they have clearly come to regret.

As for Iran and Russian weapons first off Iran today produces 97% of all it's military procurements and Iranian military officials have repeatedly made it known that Iran is looking for partners not suppliers now their are a few exceptions when it comes to purchasing advanced equipment that Iran is not yet capable of producing like the S-300 Air Defense systems but overall the Russian weapons Iran does possess like Russian Tanks, APC, ATGM, etc are all technology transfers or license production and were produced in Iran or are weapons that Iran couldn't at the time of purchase produce. And It's not all Russian weapons vast majority of Iranian anti-ship cruise missiles are based off technology transfer from China. Iran's Navy and IRGC Navy have purchased Chinese missile boats and Fast Attack Crafts.

Currently the problem with Chinese jets is that Iran would have to rely and another country for the engines and due to sanctions and since Iran prefers technology transfers, partnerships and joint ventures that would cause problems...

Personally I have no doubt that at this rate within the next 30 years Chinese aeronautic & aerospace technology as it pertains to fighter jets in particular will surpass Russian technology mainly due to the fact that China will have more money and manpower to invest in R&D than the Russians

Regardless, in my opinion your only as strong as the allies that you have and by allies I mean allies that are willing to fight along side you!
So I believe unless countries like China, Russia, Iran, N. Korea, India,... are able to set aside petty differences and come together and start joint ventures like producing 6th generation fighters, joint space programs, joint economic and technological ventures etc etc, to ensure 1st and foremost all in this alliance prosper economically, socially, technologically, politically and militarily, and unless such an alliance is created we will always be bullied.

We know that you are still a normal country with pride who also resists the US hegemony, and we also believe you should exploit more available options on the civilian products.

However, the West is still politically hostile toward you, and they won't sell any product related to the military, so your only available options are either Russia and China.

As for China, don't worry about the jet engine. We are already mass producing our own, but just for the moment, we are experiencing a little shortage because a large number of aircrafts in our fleet need to be swapped from the Russian engines to the Chinese engines.
