What's new

Qandeel Baloch is dead

And even before that, there would be no immoral activity. Basically, in a true Islamic society no brother or father would be forced to consider the extreme step as men and women would be pious, God fearing folk who would spend their lives accordingly to the teachings of Islam. No punishments would be required in a true Islamic society.
Yes that's basically what I meant. In a true Islamic society no woman or man will be allowed to bring such disgrace to the family and the whole society. Public display of obscenity is not taken lightly and if Pakistan had Islamic laws, she would have not been allowed to do such stuff and turn into a celebrity and finally to get killed in this sad way.

A group of perverts in media made her celebrity while her acts were shameless to and disgraceful to say the least, a lot of people are equally responsible for this killing...media, govt and the society.

(1) media made her a celebrity
(2) govt did not take any action to stop her from doing the disgraceful act
(3) hypocritical section of the society consisting of uneducated and morally degraded perverts liked her pages and enjoyed watching her videos

another unfortunate point in this matter is has any sister even murdered her brother for falling in immoral activities thus defaming whole family, no sister will ever kill her brother only insane bro like this will do such horrible act of killing his own sister for fake family pride. family could have disowned her legally

Sure the society have to share the responsibility!!
Who can deny that?
The culture, the society had there role in this sad incident indeed.

And another thing. This young girl was trying to use her body to gain fame. I guess she felt like that was her only ticket to stardom. If our media and entertainment industry gave her a different platform, say drama serials or being a news anchor, perhaps this could have been avoided and she would have stopped showing her skin? That would be like killing 2 birds with one stone, but unfortunately our media just milked her moronic behavior for ratings and even encouraged it.

It's really sad.

RIP, really enjoyed what she did what that fake Mullah. And was actually eager for more. May Allah forgive her...

What hypocrisy from some people here. Just reflects the height of hypocrisy in this country. What's Islamic about killing another person?

Thread ban given, and some clean up. Please report troll posts...

@abdulbarijan , come on man....Just forgets about it, no need for comparisons. And use this thread for condolences and etc, etc. Forget about general debate here.
regards

Well the media is not responsible to give platforms to people as if that was the case we may see many more like her. One cannot cast all the wannabes in drama and films. But i do agree with that "Society is responsible as well" thing. Cant say the same about this one :)

I agree, but the media had no problem milking her, finding information about her personal affairs ect.

All in all, a sad and unfortunate case.

yeah you can blame them for that!!
Not for not giving her a chance in some films :)

Had to comment. In India, it is generally the Muslim guys who kill the girl(Muslim) and her husband(non Muslim) in inter religion marriages (at least 90% cases). Others just disown her.

Some exceptions would be Haryana and UP, where both sides act crazy.

That's not true, plenty of Hindus kill their sisters or daughters for falling in love with a Dalit, or simply for not marrying whom the family wants them to marry. Google "dihonor killings in India", and the vast majority of news reports pertain to such incidents. Including mothers who set their daughters on fire.

The only common factor, whether among Hindus or Muslims, is that it's always a young girl at the receiving end.

And as I said earlier, both the siblings committed seriously gruesome acts and both were wrong.
That's what Pak is.
Both committed crimes, BTW why didn't you arrest her before, I don't think she had power.
Today, I think she was just helpless forget about security.
I am surprised by Pakistanis' comments about Qandeel Baloch ''immorality", hence deserve to die. Why are they not commenting about that Maulvi's ''immorality" or their politicians ''immorality" who siphoned billion of dollars in panama gate. Simply because she was lone and helpless woman, she was the target

Media doesn't make anyone celebrity.
What will happen if I say "I love you Anushka"
No one will care about me.
She was a celebrity, whether you think or not...

When will people learn to let Allah's Will express itself?

If God wanted that pseudo-starlet dead, it was within His power.

Don't act as God's instrument, it's the height of presumption.

Sad out, Tay.
That's a tragic thing but her actions were public and not in her private sphere....Such things are consequences all over the world. If the media did not start giving her so much attention. She may still be alive.
This guy who did this act should be fined .

Killing the girls for selecting her husband is extremely tragic and it is common in both India and Pakistan; while Islam does not allow any such practices but some very uneducated and illiterate people do that.

Veena Malik also did the same stuff in the past but later on Allah gave her Hidayat and now she is a completely different women , We should have given some time to qandeel as well , RIP

I can bet you that the people who express the most "outrage" are the very people who would have been titillated by her in the past. Pakistan is the biggest consumer of internet pron, and India isn't far behind. But then the same people act all pious and curse the women they enjoyed watching.

True

Being a brother myself if my sister was so low i'd probably do the same...
If i were to say i was sad on the death of this attention seeker i'd be a hypocrite.
I just pray for her brother, at least he won't have to hear the daily insults on the doings of this stupid bitch...
As a brother i say to her... REST IN HELL YOU MISERABLE PERSON!

Damn dude. I understand how you feel, but If you were to do that you would still hear insults about her, and also insults about you being a murderer. Think about it.
