It seems some pak members have azz-hurt. What has Genghis Khan done to their ancestors who knows?

Here a little historical knowledge for you ignorant(s).

Mongols and Turks are cousins...

They used to fight each-other in the past and also they fight together against their foes.

I have heard back in the day when Turks were at their peak Europe used to tremble of hearing of conquest by Turks.

personally i love to breed them with afghan chechian, Kurdish and African to get one super race fighting force.

Don't mind me spoiling the post but i think this is great idea to have male and female ssg elite but are single and then marry them in to produce solder gene offspring which will marry back into ssg bloodline. machines come and go but bloodline goes long way. if i had a country i was ruler this is definite on my list.

Broheim we iz jokinz!

As for historic lessons .. Here is another one... Mongols never captured our lands .. They were repulsed every time ... Try did however capture Afghanistan... Their descendants are Hazara ppl (who migrated to Pak (Balochistan - my province) in the 17-18tg century) due to persecution by Pashtun King .. And we have no enemity towards them Infact a few Pak Hazara members contribute a lot on this forum .. And in Pak they have over representation wrt their ratio (population wise).. And Pak in the past has had Hazara (Mongol) chief of Army staff Gen Musa Khan...

So don't be butt hurt over dumb comic stiff.. "Be a man"..

Well after seeing some posts from our Turkish members here on PDF some serious questions arises in my mind. Can you or any other Turkish member clarify it

1.Do People of Turkey consider "Turkic people" as a single race. I mean an average Uzbek or a Tajik don't look similar to a person hailing from Turkey.

2.Or do you consider "Turkic people" as a set of people speaking a set of languages belonging the Turkic language family just like the Indo-European language family .

3.Do people of Turkey consider yourself Caucasian (like Greek or even Syrians) or Mixed Mongoloid + Caucasian. Surely the "Turkic people" hailing from Central Asia has more Mongoloid features than anything else.

4.Do you consider all the red marked states as a part of Greater Turkic nation. Or are more states included.

5. How is Mongolia even related to people of Turkey. Both nations seems really far way and many Chinese members used to claim Mongolians are closely related to Chinese if not a part of China.

1. The concept of "Turkic" is based on a confederation of steppe warrior nomadic tribes. Its no t necessarily an ethnicity by tradional sense, but they are genetically extremely closely related. Its because of this that alot of Turks consider Mongolians as Turkic, and vice versa or in the greater scheme of things "Altaic". In more recent history alot of the Turkic tribes have integrated into local conquered terrority and inter married with the locals. As a result linguistically Turkic speaking people are directly considered Turkic as the boundaries would be hard to tell.

2. As i stated, the concept of Turkic identity in the modern age is generally linguistic, but there is usually more to that. We are talking about shared traditions, religion, culture, morales and values, social order and etc. At the same time its also quite vague.

If you want a good book to read upon the subject, i suggest you read this. Its extremely interesting and eye opening.
The New Central Asia: Geopolitics and the Birth of Nations - Olivier Roy - Google Boeken

3. We considered ourselfs central asian that settled and mixed with the locals. Ethnically we are most likely a branch of mongoloid race which over timed inherited more Caucasoid features due to mixing with local population. People talk alot about ethnicity but AFAIK there are only 4 official ethnicity in the scientific sense Mongoloid, Negroid, Australoid and Caucasoid.

4. Not exactly. Soviet Union was like the dark ages to us Turks. To put blundly the Soviet union used to displace million upon millions of Turkic people. Prime example being that Crimea used to be Tatar Turkic, yet in the present is 90% of the population is Russian. There are alot of areas we claim as Turkic, another one being East-Turkestan in China. But the most brutal thing they ever did was trying to destroy Turkic identity.

5. Most present ethnicities are derived from Mongoloid people in Asia. In almost every aspect Mongolian and Turkic tribes used to be identical. Just like Turkic tribes, Mongolian tribes simply used to be a confederation of nomadic stepp warrior tribes. When these two tribe confederation joined forces, the Mongolian-Turco empire was born. The single biggest empire on earth's history. Most Mongolians couldnt even distingiush themself from Turkic. For example most of Genghiz Khan's descendants prefered to be called or became Turkic.
