His comment is true. He said overrated, not useless. So called "stealth" planes like F-22, -35 etc have low RCS if the detecting radar is in bands such as X band. Such radars are what other fighter jets usually use. If you're going against a country which has systems which work only in these band or radars, then this stealth is indeed very useful.
But, if your "stealth" planes are in the vicinity close to nations which have employed long wavelength radar like VHF, HF then these stealth planes can be easily spotted. The problem with longer wavelength radar is that, although they can be used to spot a target with low RCS. they are inaccurate so you can't use them as accurate guidance systems to aid in the missiles shooting destroying target. So essentially, you're in a funny dilemma where you know there is a target there, but you can't effectively shoot it down using the detecting radar to guide missiles etc". But, you can just fire a missile with passive seeker (IR etc) or semi active/active into close proximity to the target using the long range high wavelength radar and then at those close ranges, even an x band radar seeker of the missiles should be able to spot these low RCS planes. You can also use long wavelength fire control radar system like the "Alam al hoda" which Iran is developing to guide missiles to stealth targets. Obviously, there are other methods to detect low RCS target other than VHF/HF radars as well.
I certainly don't think these current stealth planes are useless but they're certainly overrated. Having a system which is stealth, is much better than having one that is not. It's a added capability and that is why nations are perusing the technology. But this "stealth" label should not delude people thinking it's a silver bullet in air-combat in all environments.
