A schoolboy shot dead his female classmate early Tuesday morning before turning the pistol on himself in a private school in Karachi, Express News reported.

According to reports, a 16-year-old boy opened fire on his classmate during the assembly session at a private school in Karachi’s Patel Para area, resulting in her immediate death. Soon after killing his classmate, the boy committed suicide with the same pistol he used to kill her.

Two ‘suicide’ letters were later found in the assembly grounds. The letters, addressed to the their respective parents, clearly stated that the two teenagers were committing suicide due to their parents’ resistance against their intentions to get married. In the chilling letter, the two also requested that their bodies be laid to rest next to each other.

Both died on the spot and their bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities, after which they were handed over to their respective families, sources said.

“Police have recovered a 9mm pistol and two casings of its bullets from the crime scene,” Superintendent of Police (SP) Jamshed Town Police Station Akhtar Farooq said.

A copy of the letter can be viewed here:

Very unfortunate incident. It reveals caveats in education, upbringing and open communication between parents and children. A sound religious education at home and in school normally makes children more God fearing and abstain from crossing the limits. Furthermore, parents' busyness and adamancy results in children becoming non-expressive, violent and melancholy.

A very sad incident :(
Hell broke upon the parents.
An age in which emotions rules over brain is very hard to manage.
A proper counseling could have helped and averted this situation.

Unfortunately two precious lifes are lost and left all the sadness of world with there parents.
May God give them courage to overcome there loss and may this be a lesson to many parents that they need to handle the situations with teens in a very delicate manner.

people should understand how to deal with children in this sort of environment. let them marry the one they want even if you think it wont work or other reasons. the worst thing will be separation not the suicide.

RIP poor souls. They killed themselves in such low age. They needed counselling and attention of parents, but unfortunately they finished their life due to such emotions over brain.

ofcourse they will be together but in hell
Please brother do not say such things when we are already sad on this tragic incident. Allah is merciful. Although I know it is haram to commit suicide and a major sin but Allah can forgive them. May Allah provide patience to the grieving families. What they should learn is to be good mentors. We all get into similar situations especially in teenage and our parents, friends and teachers can guide us through it with love and open friendly communication. But normally parents keep the children at an arm's length; "Sonay ka nawala, Shair ki Aankh". What if their parents agreed to some extent and said okay we can marry you once you finish your education. If it was just infatuation, would extinguish with time and if real love then you have a happy loving couple.
