My wife prepared Biryani whereas I did seekh kebab, chicken and red snapper. Seekh kebab was an instant hit and so was Biryani. It appeared my Malaysian students had never tasted something like this before. I am already being offered to setup an eatery business.

I love seekh kebab, with a spicy chatni, eat it once in awhile, just love it. Seekh kebab and Chicken Karahi, spicy, with chatni, my favorite.

Yes, USM's main campus is in Pinang, some 4-5 hours drive from KL.

Bhai I have angled trout at Ghizar and cooked and ate. Boy, I can still remember the taste though I am talking about an event of some 20 years ago.

Wow good stuff bro :enjoy: Wish I was there.

Bihari kabab - It's very simple, You buy A grade beef, preferably undercut, and then follow the instructions on Shan Masala!

No just bugging you. We use our own spices. Unripened papaya, usually spices, I'll ask my wife for details. She is in karachi at the moment, and is the one who mixes the spices and does the marination. As a rule of thumb, the longer you marinate the better it is, preferably 24hrs in a advance (in the fridge). I'm more restricted to BBQing!

One of my aunt is wedded into a Bihari Syed family. She learnt the authentic Bihari kebab there and whenever we visit her place, she knows I'll be asking for it. For some reason, I am not good at them though I tried multiple times. I also make my own masala and don't really use Shan or other prepared spices. Not that they are not good but being a scientist, I enjoy mixing things myself. For the seekh kebab for instance, I did all the masala myself and let the minced meat marinated for 4 days in the refrigerator.

I've got that book. It's not for the faint of heart...too much halal certified stuff!!!
