All new CX-1 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) - Chinese Answer to Brahmos

With respect to Brahmos and P800, it would had been faster for us to simply buy the Yakhont P800, but then would we be able to customize it according to our needs with upgrades modifications developed in India and add it to any application we want? No, because Russia is the sole owner of that missile and we will be only an export customer that might be able to demand some minor modifications made by Russia, but remains to be dependent on them to a large extend. Not to mention that we won't get benefits from the exports and had to re-negotiate on the price for every follow order.
Brahmos on the other hand might be based on the Russian missile, but we have the freedom to produce, customize, upgrade and fit it to any application we want. Surely we will use Russian help and they get benefits from it too, but we are not dependent on them

Oh my God, is Brahmos missile dominance in South-East & South Asia comes to an end by CX-1 missile......????? Please, reply guys......!!!!!

oooooooooo
1 and 2 are strapped too ballistic missles
and the HN-2000 I've never heard of.

don't you know we got alien technology in Area 51 we are 200 years of ahead of everybody.

Yeah.. who else did the Viagrans speak to about giving the formula of their cure for flu.
(While the drug failed to have any effect in curing the flu Humans, it did have a side effect that led to a study that had the entire population of Female escorts in Vegas disappear).

I guess no. Nobody else in South Asia would deploy as many Brahmos as in India. The only difference is that Brahmos would not be India exclusive. Your rivals may also shoot you with X-mos...

China won't use this missile. It's more aimed for export market. The missile itself is too large to fit into VLS system currently used by the Chinese navy. On top of that, the air intake limits the size of radar, reducing its field of view and making it vulnerable to electronic countermeasures. The most important problem however, is the the fact that these types of missiles tend to have a higher trajectory compared to slower subsonic ones, making them easier to spot.

However, it would make a great practice drone for the navy to prepare against potential adversaries equipped with similar weapons.

and what about russian SS-N-19 shipwreak, sunburn these missiles have almost same trajectory then there subsonic counterparts and its all about reaction time with subsonic ASHM will give more reaction time to deploy electronic countermeasure or engage those missiles compare supersonic and hypersonic missiles, do some research and then talk, no hard feeling:angel:

instead you yourself do some research pls.

don't think you are smarter and more informed than both US and China's missile strategists and top-tier engineers.

it depends on against whom.

in today's world this type of missiles are a threat to minor countries, but more merely practice targets instead in eyes of the big boys: US, China and Russia, than the time when Rusia first put SS-N-19 etc sunburn into service, because the advanced eletronics industry, just to name one, has advanced light years since then.

...When Russia was producing sunburns, the world was still using brick-sized mobile phones such as Motorola Tic Tac with about 1/3- metre-long antenna sticking out for god's sake...

China never sells its top level missiles. this missile however is clearly on sale to anyone, me included, with 2 silvers in his pocket. For this type of missiles, China would probably give you 1 for free if you buy half a dozen. On top of that, the shipping cost and reception dinner are on the house, too.

asusual western superiority complex:lol:,i can link you that us and europian navies biggest threat is these two missile that i mention:p: i know better than you sir:angel::angel: btw uk and france is developing perseus supersonic antiship missile for their global combat ship and horizan class frigate, so if their harpoon and exceost so deadly so why uk and france devloping supersonic antiship missile? tell me:undecided: because subsonic ASHM intercepted easily and their terminal velocity is slow and give 150 sec or more sec to react opponent supersonic ASHM give 45 sec or less time to react,
as for CX-1 it is in the developmental stage and we have better missile than CX-1 kown as
CM-400AKG "Wrecker" with a speed of mach 5.5:woot::woot::woot: also used by PLAAF and PLANAF

just scroll down and read the secondlast headline:cheesy::china:

The primary disadvantage of ramjet missiles is the lack of range. Your launch platform will get shot down before you get within range to use the missile against a credible opponent.

Here are some examples of China's best cruise missiles.

DH-10 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

CJ-10 (missile) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hongniao - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All of them can be used from a massive standoff range. Doesn't matter if you hit or miss. Your launch platform is in no danger. None of these missiles are for sale on the international arms market.

that incorrect, these missiles is BASICALLY land attack missile, as they used as a ASHM their range is significantly reduced do you read tomahawk page in wikipedia, do some research and than talk, no hard feeling:angel:

You're the one that's incorrect. Tomahawk Block IV is a LACM and ASCM at the same time.

Heres the range:

Range:
Block II TLAM-A 1350 nautical miles (1500 statute miles, 2500 km)
Block III TLAM-C - 900 nautical miles (1000 statute miles, 1600 km)
Block III TLAM-D - 700 nautical miles (800 statute miles, 1250 km
Block IV TLAM-E - 900 nautical miles (1000 statute miles, 1600 km)

The US Navy -- Fact File: Tomahawk Cruise Missile

Watch the Youtube video:

The video will show the Tomahawk Block IV attacking a ship. Any more questions?

Those are outdated. Why do you think both China and US opted for the slower sea skimming missiles instead of these? It's not because they don't have the technology. Perhaps you should use your own advice.
