Let me correct .... see red fonts for corections and Blue for InNsas current rifle used by IA

Weight without ammo: 3.1 kg and 4 kg (difference b/c of different versions)/ Insas 4.15KG
Length: 36 inch / Insas - 37.8 inches
Barrel length: 16 inches (VERY good!) (Insas 18.3 Inches)
Effective Range: 600 meters (More than most assault rifles :) )(Range for MPT-76 ..there is no spec available for MPT-56) / Insas - 450 mtrs for 5.56 round
Rate of Fire: 650 rounds per minute /(Insas 650 rd/min)
Ammo: 5.56mm NATO standard and/or 7.62mm rounds / (Insas 5.56 NATO)
Muzzle velocity MPT- 800m/sec / Insas- 900m/ses
Insas has better muzzle velocity, not sure how can a slower round get better effective range??

PS: I could not find MPT56/76 on MKF website, is it a prototype and yet to be qualified by defense forces in Turkey?

A multi caliber rifle is being developed. This rifle we're talking about isnt for standard army.

Good choice but the transparent clip is a security hazard. I mean I understand its purpose to aid troops but a slim transparent line in the back of the clip would be better. Why? So your enemies wont see how many rounds you have if you are ever in a face to face confrontation. Food for thought.

And what does posting two mere pictures prove?

Superiority of design of one rifle, over the other :)

INSAS is a shitty rifle and no army will like to use it..and hence indian Army is phasing it out and looking for alternatives...

MPT-76 is a rifle of 21st century fit for modern militaries. Just like TAR-21 of Israeli Defense Forces or super-upgraded M-4s of U.S Army.

Just glimpses of indian army's equipment & training. If you watch , you will understand.

And why would I watch indian army's training and equipment?

Turkish Army soldiers' training, equipment, and experience is all but superior to indian Army's...

Yeah, if it was a video of Israeli Army's training or U.S Army training..then I'd love to watch...as it would give me some idea of where our forces stand.

No disrespect, but you can't compare your soldiers with soldiers of one of the most powerful Western Army. Our per capita spending on soldiers is much higher than yours.

India deserves new generation rifles like this:

:sniper:

Can you tell some details of this rifle?

Specs? Performance? Any videos preferably?

Looks tight!

Barrel length: 16 inches (VERY good!) (Insas 18.3 Inches)

Length alone doesn't determine anything. Quality of barrel, in-built firing mechanism and so on determines accuracy, range, recoil and so on.
Rate of Fire: 650 rounds per minute /(Insas 650 rd/min)

Source?

Muzzle velocity MPT- 800m/sec / Insas- 900m/ses
Insas has better muzzle velocity, not sure how can a slower round get better effective range??

Muzzle velocity is determined by the rounds being used.

Use 7.62mm round in INSAS, and its muzzle velocity would go down significantly...

MPT-76 has more range because it is a better and more accurate gun...moreover, 7.62mm gives you an edge in range if I'm not wrong...

PS: I could not find MPT56/76 on MKF website, is it a prototype and yet to be qualified by defense forces in Turkey?

MPT-76 is in the process of getting deployed all across Turkish Army...soldiers are testing it..getting used to it...learning how to use the weapon correctly and so on....
