@olcayto 10/10 ruled guilty, the discussion was over wether to close down AKP completely or just fine them.

Haşim Kılıç came up and said "innocent" bıyığını siktiğim, you can see how neutral he is :D

on a side note AKP is changing the laws so they can handpick AYM, HSYK members better :)
not the other way around. They think this is "democratic" court neutrality doesn't mean anything to them.

@Kaan it'd be appreciated if you can transfer these posts to politics :)

Am I now remembering it wrong? Weren't there two decisions made by the court?
One being not to close the party and the other being to cut their state fundso_O

Haşim Kılıç has a nice moustache:buba_phone:

You're right about the last part though. Instead of changing any wrongs in the system, they have used them for their own benefits.
Nothing has changed in the bad judiciary system. Only the sides controlling it has changed.

dude, you speak english, yes? There was a consensus between constitutional court members on the fact that AKP was guilty. there was only an argument on how to punish AKP. Haşim Kılıç's vote was the only one stating that they shouldn't be punished at all.
Haşim Kılıç has a nice moustache:buba_phone:
Douchebag mustache. It looks like trimmed pubic hair.

How clueless are you? after the court case they screwed up HSYK by putting the law in referandum and telling people to vote yes.

They made a fool of the people saying that "They should say yes because it's against the coup d'etat" "to clean the residues of coup d'etat" "for democracy" and BS like that and of course the people believed them.

WRONG
Look at Russia, look at France, look at the god damn Kazakhstan!
Railroads go EVERYWHERE if you insist on using your car you're gonna have to use two-lane even single-lane roads. In Kazakhstan roads are pretty much dirt roads, but massive railroad network. They got fast trains, VIP vagons, everything.
I live in Holland and almost every city is connected by railroad, railroad infrastructure here is top notch. But this doesn't mean they aren't widening motorways or building new one's. Holland's motor ways tend to get stuck during rush hours despite having such a strong railroad infrastructure. So railroads and motorways aren't an alternative to each other, especially in Turkey.

PROJECT WAS BLOCKED by the first july, they don't wait for court order, they don't give a sh*t about court order. You have a prime minister explicitly stating that he doesn't respect the court order. He did everything in his power to temper with the justice system & establish a pro-himself court system along with that Haşim Kılıç SOB in his pocket! He is NOT a statesman he's a tyrant who wants to control everything. He changed the shape of the EGM just because they went after corrupt ministers. Because they did their fvcking JOB.

If there was justice in this country, his party would've been closed for tempering with the secular system. Only reason why his party wasn't closed for tempering with the secular system was the motherf*cking SOB haşim kılıç's vote. A known puppet of AKP, whose daughter is married with Gül's son.

Erdogan isn't a legitimate prime minister, he's a tyrant, you talking about him like some normal politician is pissing me off here.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but you seem to actually prove my point about what I wrote about us being polarized. I don't mean to challenge you or anything, but the way you get all angry, aggressive and writing all sorts of speculations, is actually a good example of what I am trying to say with polarization. And the biggest contributor to this is politics and media (I'm sure you read all of that stuff at some media outlet, most likely an internet based one).

It's because some SOB in Ankara can not decide what's going to happen in my city, just because he got the votes from Diyarbakır. Look what your beloved mayor says here: Topbaş: Artık bir durağı bile halka soracağız - Genel Bakış- ntvmsnbc.com

That's why he won in İstanbul. Gökçek didn't win Gökçek cheated his way out.
Topbas saying something like that is a good thing don't you agree? I personally see that as a positive development. Maybe other mayors in the country will follow this example.

phuck your economical gains, phuck your provoking groups
Even if I was the one who died there it would be worth it.

It was worth every second of risking my own life.

There's one such thing called right and wrong and I'd rather die defending the right than to live my life like the flock of sheep you all are. Worried about their "economical gains"
What are you referring to with 'right'? And how are you so sure your 'right' isn't self-righteous?
You are saying it's worth it, but you don't come up with a satisfactory answer as to why it was worth it and what we as a nation have gained from it.

I actually tried to outway the pro's and con's of these protests and was expecting you to weigh in as well, especially to the pro's part of this argument. But all you seem to be doing is writing aggressive posts without much substance to them.

By the way, I'm not sure if I will respond after this post. Don't want this argument to drag on forever and you seem to be getting angry and aggressive, which isn't what I am after.

Well, duhhhh! Obviously if someone gets a punishment it has to be guilty. However İ wasn't talking about wether they were guilty or not, but rather wether they should have been closed or not.
İf İ remember right you put the statement that they didn't get closed, solely because of Haşim Kılıç. Though İ'm not sure, nor can İ check it because Kaan deleted our first couple of posts.

What kind of moustache do you like then :)

Mate why am İ clueless? Actually İ just stated the same thing you stated. AKP has abused the judiciary system.
İt has used it in ways it should't have. They have made sure that the events of 2007 won't happen ever again.

Anyway how the frick did İ get involved in these political debates again.
@LegionnairE , you want to know my opinion about politics and its respective parties?
Screw politics, screw the parties. Screw Erdoş, Ghandi and Püskevitci. Nothing but personal gain is in their mind.

They have 8-lane motorways in California, and it's a nightmare, always stuck. It's because everyone has two cars and mass-transit is non-existent. You wanna be like them? We are carrying people with busses, if you're going to somewhere along black sea coast you'll have to take a bus. Instead of investing there we're building more motorways... Have fun being an oil-slave capitalist sh*thole

You think I'm blind? you think I like it? I don't, but as long as AKP stays in power it'll get WORSE. Penguin media will produce more people sheep and book-reading, internet-surfing generation will produce more people like me. We live in the same place but we have different worlds.

The point is Erdogan the power hungry control freak will never say anything like that. I actually like Topbaş.

I'm sure my "right" isn't self-righteous because I didn't break any laws, the police did. Their job was to enforce the law, they enforced Erdogan's orders. I'm not sure whose b*tch is the police department anymore... Gülen cult? Erdog?

I have seen that I'm not alone, there are millions like me who's willing to fight and who's not afraid of police violence. I've seen some of the best men and women I've ever met in my life in Gezi. I've seen a brave Turkey. It was worth every second of me risking my life there, breathing the tear gas, dodging canisters. And I don't care for your judgement.

You weren't there, you can't understand.

I was just saying that the fact that he's biased was the sole reason why AKP wasn't closed. If it wasn't for him there's a good chance there wouldn't be an AKP today, that makes them illegitimate.
What kind of moustache do you like then :)
Man mustache, Haşim Kılıç has pubic hair growing on his face.

This is exactly why we have to get rid of %10 election barrage, CHP is offering to reduce it to %5... I'll take it.

The trend for motor vehicle's is going to hybrid's and electric cars. Turkey aspires to build their own brand of cars and I'm remember reading that they recommended building electric cars. Matter of fact, I remember reading something in the likes that a company in Eskisehir with help from University students were developing an electric car.
There are also developments in making high speed trains as well. Tulomsas with the help of Aselsen and another company plan on building their own high speed train by 2018 or 19.

Books and internet have both pro and anti whatever, so it will produce more people who are from either side. But this will change from the top down. In other words, if the political level in Turkey rises, and the debates are actual debates, than this will reflect on any form of media whether it be, tv, internet or written media. And with it on the people themselves and Turkey's polarization problem.

I'm sure my "right" isn't self-righteous because I didn't break any laws, the police did. Their job was to enforce the law, they enforced Erdogan's orders. I'm not sure whose b*tch is the police department anymore... Gülen cult? Erdog?
That's actually not what I meant, but never mind. No reason to drag it on.

I think I can understand. I mean you are there with those people so you are definitely gonna interact with people there and build potential friendships. And I'm sure there were awesome people there. But I am not questioning that. I am not questioning the experience. I was just questioning the protest itself and its positive and negative effects on Turkey as a whole.

@LegionnairE. So are you more of a free market type of guy or a socialist.

He's a supporter of state-ownerships. İ wouldn't describe him as a socialist. İ wouldn't know how to describe what he supports. However İ know that he's very anti liberal economy :).

İ disagree with him 8-)

I think you need a reality check, living in the netherlands has pulled you away from the realities of Turkey. If you watch Tv in Turkey, people in power will sell you their side of the story. AKP has been in power for too long, and their control over media has created a dumb flock of sheep.

Open your fvcking eyes, no intellectual person will ever vote for a control freak. Who's still keeping YouTube banned. I'm guessing you've been away for too long you think it's still like 1990s in Turkey. Turkey was never polarized like this, it's a bomb. They've been dragging lawyers inside the halls of association because they defended protestors in court. They've been dragging teachers on the streets of Ankara because they were protesting. They used the police force to suppress the opposition but they took all the intellectuals of Turkey against them.

They had to cheat their way out of the last elections. Melih Gökçek isn't a legitimate mayor. And their combined stupidity will make sure they lose next time.
@LegionnairE. So are you more of a free market type of guy or a socialist.
I'm a nationalist, I want what's best for this nation. And selling government companies to international enterprises underpriced was a treason.

I'm against treachery, I'm against corruption. Those state companies could be sold to Turkish people via İstanbul stock market, state would've earned the same amount of money. Could keep %51 of the stock like in the Turkish Airlines' case. But AKP dogs couldn't take their bribes. They've sold state companies to international firms, taking them away from Turkish hands. Just to get their bribe. How do you think Erdogan family became one of the richest families of Turkey?

Also, I think I like combined economical system, state can own some of the companies, people may own some of them... it's no big deal.
I think I can understand. I mean you are there with those people so you are definitely gonna interact with people there and build potential friendships. And I'm sure there were awesome people there. AKP's vote percentage has dropped from %58 to %30s in polls, it was a great show of force from our part. And they showed their true faces, killing protestors. Erdogan ran away to Africa, couldn't come to his office in Beşiktaş for days. Police put their tails between their legs and fled Taksim.

%40 of people in Turkey aren't aware but if AKP falls, Turkey wins. You're free to disagree.

With the populations divided like that you might as well split the country. This country will face many structual problems in the future thanks to the current environment that was created by the government.
still, NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Right on!
Political stability is a product (dependent on) of transparency, IMHO.

It will get better, Inshallah.

I just hope that Erdogan becomes a little more politically flexible.

But then again, with due respect, when you have opponents who have no dignity, people might react like Erdogan.

I have seen so-called "secularists" turks here who just HATE AKP/Erdogan even so much so that they 'hate' Erdogan MORE than they 'love' Turkey.

AKP has proven to be the best party in Turkish history but instead of appreciating them, when you hate them blindly for no reason...and stupidly follow the western narrative of "islamists" (where as no such thing exists), then understandably it would really irk Erdogan and AKP.

Both sides in Turkey needs to come close and be more flexible for the future of their country.

BTW, when are *official* results of last elections coming out?

This is the main problem we have on this forum, people with opinions but no knowledge.

"AKP has proven to be the best party in Turkish history" he amk he

It is not an 'opinion' but a fact. Internationally recognized fact.

You might argue that AKP's success lie in someone else's reforms (The first leader to 'open' Turkish economy) but still, it doesn't change the fact that AKP has been the most successful political party in Turkish history.
