Civilians will still be killed, there's in need for perpetual violence IMO. Only when it's necessary, this guy legiinarr is just an anti Erdogan nutjob who wants him gone for whatever personal reason.
can you please stop judging people by how they view the brotherhood and he is right about something there can be no negotiations with any armed group inside the country borders i dont know much about the pkk but if i was turk i would say the same however i cant beleive the number 40 thousand killed it is just too much

Erdogan isn't even brotherhood, I judge him as the leader of Turkey. This story is BS from opposition and their stories keep failing, in the end the Turkish people elect the AKP again.

Of course, personal reasons... He used to love this girl but Sultan Erdogan stole her for his harem, so Legi is mad at him :cuckoo:

You are obviously clueless about the situation in Turkey. So why commenting?

And no, civilians won't and shouldn't be killed.

No I'm not clueless, there's a secular view and there's whole other side other story which we don't hear because you raging seculars don't want us to.

Erdogan, Qatari emir, Morsi, Tareq al Hashimi from the ( Islamic party ) are all Muslim Brotherhood, some have different names but are the same, their alliance is seen clearly.

It's been 30 years of terror, We've been fighting since the early 80ies, there's been bombings in big cities and raids in rural areas, until the point we've armed the villagers and built up a civilian defence force. We've been dodging landmines and ambushes, after 1991 gulf war PKK gained such strength they would attack our outposts that are manned by 100 soldiers with 500 terrorists. Unspeakable atrocities has been made, but apperently the Arab world wasn't following.

It's okay.

Then what the f are you doing here? There's internet full of resources, you can research. I don't have to educate you.

@LegionnairE Can you be in charge of keeping this thread updated?
Okay no probs, now that I've seen how the world turns my interest is shifting from military to politics sadly....

I've spent a good portion of my life believing that arms and armor decided the fate of this planet. Not anymore.

Suffice to say I'll be around this thread ;)

I wonder ho started polarizing with "We did this and that, they did this and that"

I never supported for any party here but we still have people cheering for their political parties like they are football clubs. Maybe as Turks, we deserve this ..... i dunno.

Maybe the country just should split into two like north and south Korea.... i dunno. :undecided:
NOOOOOOO,NEVER

Why would anyone be so upset with Haşim Kılıç? Just because the man didn't close down akp back in 2007 ?

Excuse me, but he did do the right thing in that case. There was no freaking way he could have closed down the party for being anti secular.
That argument has been abused and misused throughout the history of the Republic.

With the populations divided like that you might as well split the country. This country will face many structual problems in the future thanks to the current environment that was created by the government.

"Being center of actions against secularsim" was a crime for a political party. That law is still there, to protect the republic from shariatist scum and AKP was found guilty of it. It's normal, if your surprised, check this: there are lots of neo-nazis in Germany but they can't be represented. You know why? Because it's not allowed to have a racist party.

Are you shocked? surprise surprise.

I'm not upset with Haşim Kılıç, I'm upset with the fact that he's a pawn of a political party, and now has family ties with Apdullah Gül. He's biased, that's why he's the chairman of the constitutional court.
Erdogans palace is technically speaking a gecekondu. Its an illegal building.
Exactly, and there was going to be another "illegal building" in Taksim if hadn't we interfered.

Hmm, last time İ checked German political parties weren't abusing, again and again the Nazi thing to close down any opposition parties :)

Where did you read that İ was against the law protecting secularism anyway?
Read well, that law has been abused and misused through out the history of the republic.

I didn't say that you're against secularism. But the thing is, all the rest of the members of the court ruled that AKP was guilty.

I can trust their judgement, they are all people of the law. But do you honestly think that someone who has close family ties with Apdullah Gül can close down AKP?

The fact is Haşim Kılıç IS biased, he shouldn't be in that position. But the fact that he is biased IS the reason he's in that position.

AKP rewards those on their side.
Never forget! Big brother is watching you, huh!
nice 1984 referance

I cleaned up some posts

I hate you:mad:

Actually it was a 6 to 5 decision. It was very close and all came down to the vote of Haşim Kılıç.

Anyway I regard Haşim Kılıç as a independent person. Views may differ on this issue, but that's a personal thing I guess.

On a side note all members of aym are biased. They get handpicked by political parties, what do you expect?
