Hello to the Chinese members,
The World's Most Dangerous Trail on Mr. Huashan Leads to a Teahouse
Found this on the Net. Had a few queries regarding this :

1. Is this real or hoax?
2. If its real, does this route still exist for travellers?
3. Can a foreign tourist visit this place? If yes, are there any special permits and what is the best time to visit this area of China? Could you also recommend other areas nearby, if I were to visit?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's real.
Any foreign tourist can visit it, u need to contact with HuaShan local travel agent =).
I suggest u can visit HuaShan anytime, except Winter (November to February) coz there'r very cold and high wind on the moutain.

Other famous Mountain in China, like LuShan/庐山 in JiangXi province, HuangShan/黄山 in AnHui province,ThaiShan/泰山 in ShanDong province. They r also beautiful and safer for climber. If u r a thrill-seeking climber, i suggest snow moutain(3000-5000m) around SiChuan province and Tibet. The moutains at East China all <1000m, high moutain all at West China.

U has two ways to the HuaShan mountaintop::coffee:
1. take HuaShan ropeway, ticket about ¥120

My palms got sweaty just looking at those pictures!
Imagine the difficulty for the people who built the plank walkways.
