LCA Tejas MK 1 VS Gripen C/D

I open this thread to discuss the capability of LCA Tejas MK 1 Vs Saab Gripen C/D.

Honorable members may post their views. Pl take care that you do not compare Gripen NG with Tejas MK 1. We shall do that when full specification of MK2 is out.

Pl do not compare JF 17 with either of these aircraft because we already know the outcome.

Pl do not troll and let the thread to remain clean.

Gripen C/D vs LCA ???????

Gripen C/D is operational with 4 Air Forces of the world, +260 built, while LCA is still in testing phase, not even operational yet with IAF. So its like comparing a tractor with a Space shuttle. Please go on..

PS: As far as i know vs threads are not allowed on PDF. @mods plz

Tejas: Not exactly known but 5.5 to 6.0 tons

Grippen: 6.5 Tons

Advantage: Tejas.


RCS:

Tejas: Tejas is small and uses More composite in air frame

Grippen: Big and uses less composite in air frame

Advantage: Tejas

RADAR:

Tejas: Tejas has 650 MM Dia Radar with pick Power of 10.5 KW

Grippen: Grippen has 600 MM Dia Radar with pick Power of 8.5 KW

Advantage: Tejas


Engine:

Same for both engine. No advantage

T/W Ratio:

Same engine but Tejas is light

Advantage : Tejas.


ITR:

Advantage: Tejas


STR:

Advantage: Gripen.

So its like comparing a tractor with a Space shuttle.

Sorry:

Vs F22 and Vs T50 is reserved for China.

Such as J 20 Vs F 22

J 15 ( 2 ton Payload) Vs Su 33 etc.

Now tell me whether I am compering Tractor to Space Shuttle? Why do you take it otherwise? This is an open forum. Forum rule do not give any special previlage to particular nationality Citizen.
