Those who have the obvious (but mutilated) queries regarding the Pakistan Army, please soothe yourself here (trolls, go through the slides before yapping, others, please take your time):

slide1vmp.jpg

With slide 2, the number of 'active' personnel working in this organization could be laid to rest:

slide3di.jpg

Note the contribution towards Shuadas and the administration committee (which has a bureaucrat - the remainder of serving officers has no executive control over the origination, just a ceremonial one):

slide4d.jpg

Bahria Foundation: Generates its OWN funds and NOT the run by the Defence Budget:

slide5rs.jpg

Again, concentrate on the ratio of civilians vs military guys being employed:

slide6c.jpg

Benevolent Fund is from which our Shudas' families are sustained, their stipends, children's eduction etc.

slide7e.jpg

These organizations are the best tax payers of the country:

slide8e.jpg

More welfare:

Special treatment is given to the next of kins of Shaheeds:

Details of Employees to be noted:

Without SCO, our Northern Areas were out of communication.

Military personnel are employed because the main beneficiary of SCO is the Pakistan Army itself, for a layman; the Army has allowed civilians to make use of their communication infrastructure. Security of communication implies it should be being run by military personnel. It simply means that the communication setup that the Army had required to operate at Siachen was made available to the civilians of that area, a win win for all:

FWO is the Corps of Engineers of Pakistan Army, it is their job to built roads and prepare tracks for the military, they are paid to built roads, so why not give some more 'on job' training and let them do what they would be doing during war? BTW, Army Engineers working in the civilian sector is practiced the world over:

NLC, well you can think of it as the part of the Disaster Management Authorities, again they are doing what they are going to do in war. It's an ingenious way of providing 'free of cost' training:

Thanks Xeric

whenever someone decides to talk against the army he also mentions the above civilan projects/ orgainsations missing the fact that the majority of employees is in fact the civilians.
the information is there for the people to see but still a lot of fasle propoganda is done and these organisations are shown as a piggy bank of the "GENERALS" .

I hope that people who are not blinded with hatred can bother to read through and realise th truth.

Again, 'on job' training for personnel without burdening the National exchequer:
slide22w.jpg

This should serve as a major pain reliever:

Welfare, welfare and welfare:

slide25r.jpg

slide26n.jpg

i know some people would still get fits because of this:

slide27d.jpg

It's all about integrity:

slide28i.jpg

After this, there are no more queries (ofcourse less the habitual trollers):

Excellent information. Thank you for posting it here.

Nothing personal, guys:
slide30qv.jpg

Some more are going to have sleepless nights over this:

Re-DHA:

slide34h.jpg

i dont know what this needs clarification, military farms (for the provision of rations etc to soldiers) are maintained by militaries all over the world:

Wonder why Pakistan Army is popular among Pakistanis:

slide37.jpg

I see this is a reply to another member in another thread!

Good job Xeric.

This thread should be made sticky.

60% people in Fauji foundation are civilians, says it all. the other 29 percent are low ranking JCO's.

Good Work Xeric!
this is done due to governance issues will civilian govts.
this is done to take care of retd officers/JCO's/Jawans.
this is done to take care of Shaheeds and their next of kin.
now you see why PA is popular amongst the masses!!!

This still does not explain how some generals will still end up with the best plots on "lucky draw" in DHA schemes.. while the rest who put in for the scheme including Brigs, Cols.. and Majors.. end up with the trash.
The question is not of the organizations and their contribution... its how they were/are exploited by a few uncouth individuals just as their mirrors in the Civilian tagged organizations(not on the same scale though) are by the many uncouth parties that sit in power.

The question is not of contribution , its of accountability.
And by that I mean accountability within the military.. are there mechanisms to ensure that any cases of fraud caught by the MI are presented before the JAG and dealt in an unbiased manner.

And please try NOT to drag the other institution of Pakistan into this discussion to present a counter point.
Since the argument of "andhon mein Kana raja" makes this discussion pointless.

Excellent information Xeric! This should help dispel some of the propaganda against the Pakistan Army.

Well, we are ourselves caught up in this plot issue right now.

But then, you should not be blaming the whole organization for the acts of just a few individuals.

Santro, if i'd even be a DQ in any Div HQ, i'll make sure that the MOQ/House (the sarkari married accommodation) i am allotted the best one available in the cantt. If i'll be distributing sweets in packets for free, i'll probably keep the better packet (even though the contents are the same) for myself of for the people i know.

Now i dont say that this approach is right, it's bad, but isnt this happen everywhere (with different intensities)?

And for your other point, frauds are dealt with in the military through the MPML (the JAG vets it), any favor that can be given can only be done during the inquiry. The JAG cant alter the punishments. And the officer(s) conducting the inquiry never take chances (favor the culprit) as the JAG branch has very clear punishments for crimes, so if the punishment suggested by the inquiry officer is not as per the MPML (lower or higher than what the Regulation state), the inquiry officer himself faces a court martial!

i have conducted inquiries, and have been with very senior officers who were president of court of inquiries, speaking frankly i have seen them worrying about the content of punishment, because if the punishment is not what the culprit should actually have received, this sole inquiry would turn into the last nail in his coffin within days.

i have seen friends ruining the carriers of friends during inquiries (even though they wanted to hep them), but let's face it, no one likes to screw his own carrier for someone else.

P.S i wonder when would this obsession of yours with the Jernailship would finally end? BTW, you need to change your nick now ;)
