Number Of Pakistanis Looking For Opportunities Abroad Surges

Says a cockroaoch who fled as well.....
Some of us were born here. You're lucky that we even care about Pakistan. Most children of expatriates don't even care about Pakistan.

Hell, your generals and civilian leaders run here. Why should we care about you when you keep re-electing corrupt people who have homes abroad?

Imagine if we told our parents to stop sending money to bums back in Pakistan?

Well this is will be a very, very small number. Most haven’t got the resources to get out and even if they do Western, even Middle East nations obtain labour from preferred nations.

There are not enough opportunities at home in Pakistan. Thats part of the problem.
There is no harm is going to different parts of the world to get higher education, or employment.

The world is a more interconnected place now.

Which Countries are these guys trying to get to? They should try to get into Germany, Japan or South Korea.

People voting with their feet.

Things are so sh#t in Pakistan that almost everywhere is a better option.

These are the popular ones USA, UK, Canada, Dubai, Germany, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Qatar and Norway.

only a brghiarat wouldn't care about his blood, ancestral land - I am not even saying it in a political way, just as a human being
it reflects badly on the values of a man more so than country
Imagine if we told our parents to stop sending money to bums back in Pakistan?
So you don't even send money, your parents do, out of their own pockets
yet you think you are an authority on everything Pakistan or to disrespect its people?

damn, I have been trying as well.
are Pakistani degrees, especially engineering ones recognized abroad?

With the projected population shortage and aging across the world the preferred part will most likely be gone.

In ten years we will be living in a different world and the trend will most likely continue.

It's a problem not centric to Pakistan only but ALL developing countries. Give anyone a visa and they will be more than happy to exit their respective countries.

While the mask is patriotism for people who don't want to leave, the reality is that they lack the resources or have obligations that have them tied to their countries and a rather unfortunate living arrangement.

Do note that there is a small subset that is filthy rich and is living a better life than 95% of any overseas. Ahem...generals ahem gan*u Nawaz and his kanjar family/politicians and some self-made hard-working folks.

I am always surprised when rich Pakistanis choose to live in the West. The luxury available to the rich in Pakistan is far greater than anything in the West.

Yes, give a 'patriot' a Western visa and he'll be on the next plane out. Yes. yes I know there are exceptions.

Correction

Pakistani people have never been allowed to pick their own Leader since 1952
Pakistani People have never been allowed to setup their constitution since 1947

Army has been Running country , behind the scene , reaping best rewards and perks (Housing , Salary, Pension , Health Care, Free Education , Free University Training perks)

Example
  • No one elected Ayub Khan in 1965
  • No one elected Bhutto in 1970's he lost elections
  • No one elected Yahya Khan
  • No one elected Zia
  • No one elected Musharaf
  • No one elected Zardari
  • No one elected Shabaz Sharif in 2022 when Imran Khan's stable government was toppled

Most people who leave Pakistan , is because their parents cannot get a guarantee job
that is available for politician's children or , if you are connected to Army

The children of those parents are told , the "STATE" cannot find you a job

Then why don't your leaders and army care for your country more then expatriates do? Why do they run outside the country?
So you don't even send money, your parents do, out of their own pockets
yet you think you are an authority on everything Pakistan or to disrespect its people?
You don't think I contribute? I don't want my parents money subsidizing lazy bums in our family.

We had high hopes for Pakistan upon PTI, things weren't perfect, but there was still improvement. The exports were going up. Remittances too. Digitization of transactions, even a hotline for those who had their properties stolen in Punjab. All that down the drain.

You don't understand how important expatriates are. India understands very well. Don't you think Indian CEOs of Google, Microsoft, IBM and many others work towards directing investment and manufacturing to India?

Do you know this year had a record number of Indians in the US Senate and Congress? The Vice President is half-Indian. There are two Indian candidates running for President on the Republican side alone. The US state department and DC-based think tanks are filled with Indians to guide US policy towards Pakistan.

Here your sold out army is selling the country, its people, its leader for a billion dollars and a hopeless pursuit of "friendship" with the west simply because some diplomat who no one had even heard of told them "all will be forgiven" if Imran Khan is removed. You really think those Indians in the US government are really going to allow US-Pakistan ties to improve?

All Pakistan's problems start at the Army and their interference in Civilian Matters

At the root level the cause is simple Army is above the "Law"
