Are all Indians protesting? Most people you see there are some Sikhs and Haryanvi. Where are the Tamils, Andhra, Bengali, Bihari, UPites, Kannadigas, Maratha. More than half of Indians are employed in Agriculture and you're saying this is it? I'm not going to explain farm laws for the umpteenth time, read it from anywhere you like.

You don't get it , do you?
( For your information I don't support the "farmers protest" which represents the most reactionary, parochial and retrograde mind set in the subcontinent. A similar protest in my own nation would have met my downright condemnation. It is however enjoyable to watch our mortal enemy's discomfort from a distance ).

So you don't get it ...

The protest has nothing to do with farm laws, but the move to change the entire culture from hereditary family based farming culture to an industrial market based competitive culture.
This will change the rural culture of India, and indeed the entire social structure of the majority of the population, shattering the caste and religious insularities of rural communities forever.

Bringing market economics and making regions compete for the lowest prices for agricultural products by efficient modern co-op agriculture ( which like in countries like the USA is now managed by corporations like Cargill) is the best way to go.
The "family farm" is now history in the USA.
Leased coopted land managed by efficient grain corporations that control the product from the seed to the cornflakes I put in my breakfast cereal bowl is the best way. Obviously society will change with education and better awareness.
Look at the all the tractors farmers use now . So much better than bullocks and wooden plows, ( we won't discuss what will happen to the bulls :omghaha: ).

So the Jats and Sikhs are in the forefront because they are educated enough to know they are the last generation of the Tau jis. The rest of the cow belt ( Bihar UP ) is too illiterate to understand that it is affected, and will go with whatever " Mor Baba" says. In any case the present agricultural productivity of the cow belt is too low for agricultural products trading firms to be of any interest.

There is a reason why Tamil, Kannada and Andhra " farmers" are not protesting because they are more educated than the Jats and Sikhs, and have a "if you can't beat them join them" attitude, So it is they who will lead India's rural transformation and it is they who will join the market based competition for agricultural products, and give the Punjab Haryana belt a run for the money,
The private sector food corporations will buy the food from where it is cheapest.
Even import it if necessary.
If the Tauji from Haryana doesn't like it then too bad.

Red Fort is a national symbol where only one flag should fly, Tricolour.

It's that obvious, lol nobody should be asking what's wrong with it.

Didn't answer my questions.
1. Why does the " national symbol " have a mosque inside ?
2. Why does the tricolor have to be a copy of one party's flag ?

For the record our national symbol:
Minar e Pakistan has no religious structure inside.
Our flag was not the flag of any political party.

Actually if you remove steel
rolling shutters from a shop front and spread it over the spikes a tractor will roll over it very comfortably 😂

Standard Army Corp of Engineers practice to Sappers to defeat anti-vehicle obstacles .
🤣🤣🤣

easier then that you can get tractors with bucket at front that will do job if not then get the caterpiller track version.

Pardon me for asking a silly question, if farmers need to protest what exactly is the point of bringing tractors to the protest?

Sour grapes make the best whine :D

You should ask your regime which didn't even initially accept its own troop's dead bodies in 1999 all for changing status quo in Siachen
Three jets and one helicopter down. 4 Divisions against less than a battalion and totally fought on your land. Only Indians consider it a war, for us it was just a skirmish and they still are continuing. Indian dream of 2 front war is already a reality and the pain on your military leadership faces is obvious. So again what did India gain from Siachin other than thousand of dead soldiers and billion of dollars spent. Sorry I forgot the benefit to the Indians, millions of dollars in kickback from emergency purchase of defense material for Indian politicians and General including on buying coffins.

Those are the "multipurpose vehicles" they have, which serve as agricultural machinery and transport. The tractors have replaced bullock carts.

In earlier protests ( 1947-1997)
they did bring their bullock carts, but with so much poop on the roads, the Delhi Municipal Corporation would send them a bill for cleanup.

Some time in the distant future the Indian farmers will be driving Toyota Tacoma and Hi Lux pick ups , but only if this agitation winds up.

Earlier they didn't like tractors because they didn't know what to do with the bulls .

Lol the only defence Indians ever have is, point fingers to Pakistan.

Obsession !!
Don't blame us. We are just passing the popcorn.
Ask your Doorknob Cowswami why he and is ilk drag Pakistan and Khalistan into a purely parochial organization movement .
Not that this the first.

You had the Punjabi Suba agitation in the 60s, and then you had the Haryana Tameer agitation in the 70s. Look it up.
Then the Jats and Sikhs were going hell for leather at each other.Today they working together.

Don't blame Pakistan for everything. This drama started in 1948. There was action by security forces on the Golden Temple in 1955 when 200 Sikhs were killed.
Read your History and then comment.

So what started with the goal preventing supplies to Siachen and with the eventual hope of taking back Siachen ended with
1. Indian losses were so much
2. It was just a skirmish for us
3.Siachen is useless

You can single handedly boost Pak exports with the wine from all these sourgrapes hahaha :D

Ok so they got their toilets.
So remind me what they are protesting about.

No it's not. Even "Mor Baba" in his Mann ki Baat message said that the Tricolor had been insulted . How?
Isn't the Nishan Sahib the blood brother of the Bhagwa Dhwaj ?

See below :

Question:
If that benighted Red Fort ( which the Royal Army Corp of Engineers was going to demolish around 1879-70 is so sacred to Rashtriyata that any religious symbol defiles it
then what "F" is a small white mosque (Pearl Mosque) doing inside the fort? Why didn't the Archeological Survey of India and the Delhi Tourism Board demolish the "structure" ?

So why so much heartburn over one Nishan Sahib flag over the Fort such that the Pradhan Sevak has to comment on it ?
So you are continuously listening to this man ki baat really sad your obsession is Endless

I know my history Thier have been many protests but none of them had a state sponsored ruler that killed people like bushra aztiz
Or an absolute supreme ruler

There have been 5 succesful coups in Pakistan can't let that happen here

Maybe more lathi charge on students will happen somewhere

Just today Arabic was declared as a compulsory language maybe something similar will happen in language department
