Why didn't Narendra Modi and BJP listen to Rahul Gandhi's late January and February 12 speech when he gave advanced warnings on the emerging COVID-19 crisis in India? Instead of planning for the crisis, he played host to Donald Trump in a stupid event around February 25.

Here's from you Sanghi fanboys, favorite news outlet, Republic World. Even they had reported on February 12 about Rahul Gandhi blaming Modi administration for not taking COVID-19 crisis seriously. I rest my case. Today India is number 3 in terms of worst impact, soon to become no.2 or even no.1

All of this could have been avoided had you Indians listened to Rahul in February, or better still in January....with timely intervention, India could have experienced as few cases as Thailand or even Taiwan with proper advanced planning. Your Narendra Modi and BJP leaders have been sleeping on the job, and you lot still don't get it. One can lead a horse to a water, one can't make it drink. Same is with Sanghi fanboys.

If he were to come in Power, he'd do everything in power to please everyone and bring them closer to India - like in the past.

We're quite pleased with what's going on China, Nepal, Sri Lanka and some-what Bangladesh.

We're happy India has been cut out of Afghanistan.

We're happy that China is pumping Billions into Iran.

We're happy that you've denied access to key-figures like US Senator Chris Van Hollen and British MP Debbie Abrahams in Kashmir.

We're happy that your people have started expressing their true feelings towards certain Religions (Internationally) 'cause now their people have started to voice their concern and begun imprisonment/deportation for those very views.

Let me point out the horrifying part of this whole drama.

It is not the Modi supporters who are dying. The Modi supporters are, one lot of them, among the 'new' middle class, those hordes from the villages who rushed into the cities and towns, mortgaged their parents' land to get an education in a capitation fee college, and then got a well-paying job as a techno-coolie. They are mildly affected, or not affected at all.

The other lot are the ones just below, the banias and the self-employed, working in odd jobs in the towns; the security guards, the van drivers, the shop assistants, and the like. They too are relatively less affected than the general average.

It is the poor, who have no chance of attracting Modi or Mota Bhai's attention, the migrant labourer, the slum dweller, the peasants, the domestic servants, all those who are most vulnerable, who are dying.

This bunch of foul vultures don't care for the poor. They know the poor are too scattered to return the bulk numbers that the Modista needs so badly for the polls. So the poor can die. Their vote doesn't count.
