China will continue to back Pakistan military, which will continue to remain an India-centric force.

Military cooperation will certainly continue, no doubt. But I hope others can be a big development, china more attention to comprehensive relationship and Pakistan.Do not just take a look at India.

Pakistan is certainly grateful for a comprehensive all-weather relationship with China.

But without doubt, the greatest benefit Pakistan has received from China is nuclear technology - without which Pakistan could not have continued Jihad on behalf of Kashmiris and other Muslims.

I modified a bit, India does not have big share in China's foreign defence policy. I can only say, "all economic, civilian co-operation is secondary", 20 years ago, you may be right, but now is not. China certainly have a concern on India , but if you said the strategic relationship between China and Pakistan just because India, you will are wrong.

Would you be kind enough to describe the other aspects of Pakistan -China alliance which do not have anything to do with India ?

Because in all such relationships there is a certain amount of give and take ,over the years we can see China providing many geo-strategic benefits to Pakistan but what Geo-strategic benefits is Pakistan able to give China ? Apart from containing India ,that is .....

and please note that an internal issue like the Xinxiang struggle(which pakistan keeps under check with the ISI) does not count as a geo-strategic issue but a domestic one ....

Gwadar port being given to China is denied by both the Pakistani Govt and the Chinese govt.China is investing in ports around India ( in BD , Sri lanka and Pakistan ) strictly for economic reasons as the Chinese govt says and this fact is confirmed by all the countries concerned that they will not be allowed to be used for military activities .......

and in the event when they did , the IN is sufficiently powerful to take
care of it ,do remember we have more vessels and bases on our peninsula than China has in Pakistan (just 1 ),

China's first aim is to develop ourselves. Of India or any other country as the enemy is not our purpose. China's goal of South Asia and the Indian Ocean to protect trade and energy channel, not offensive India, if India is to cut off the channel, then we might be enemies. China's first goal is to develop economy and improve people's lives, war is not our goal, that needs to clear. And in addition to our 50-year history of mutual trust and people's friendly feelings, the relationship between China and Pakistan is very promising in the future, this is the reason that we value in Pakistan.

You are right. Pakistan and China's relationship is based on mutual respect and mutual interest. And Pakistan and China share a lot of mutual interests which has little to do with india, much of the mutual interests between Pakistan and China has to do with development and prosperity for both Pakistan and China.

There are many countries that trade with each other for money and development. But the China-Pakistan relation is special.

For example, when the entire world was labeling the Jamaat-ud-Dawa freedom fighters as terrorists, it was the Chinese veto at the UN that protected them.

That is why, Pakistan and China are far more that ordinary friendly nations - they are in fact the conjoined twins of Asia.

To how many you will offer this Gawdar port???

- Pakistan can offer access to Gas & Oil Supply Routes.

They don't need supply routes they have some of the largest oil and gas reserves in the world.

- Vast trade and investment opportunities.

Possibility is very low. Pakistan's economy is small.

- Pakistan can stable Afghanistan with cooperation from Russia.

You should work on your KP first.

- Pakistan can buy vast amounts of Military hardware and skills from Russia.

Pakistan's military budget is small.

- Road and Rail network access can also be provided to Russia.

Again don't have any border with Russia.



Above all India is still the largest importer of Russian arms and development partner as well with $ tens of billions of deals under way. Russia can't have such cooperation with Pakistan and they will not.

You misunderstood my meaning, although it is not worth to explain, but still add a note, I mean that you think that China can not meet India's military? 20 years ago, we may need the help of Pakistan, but not a lot to now.And China and India are the development of trade and other relations, if the relationship between China and Pakistan only because to defense to India, it is wrong, China is more fancy Pakistan itself, not the other reasons.

Russia needs money. You will not get things for free or at a discount like Pakistan get from the US and China (though I feel Pakistani army has given lives which cannot have a numerical value attached to it).

What can Pakistan offer Russia? Why would Russia want to close its ties with India and go with Pakistan?
