First Armed Division of Multan Corps of Pakistan Army began winter military exercise in Cholistan desert to enhance and improve operational readiness of the forces to make country's defence impregnable and impenetrable. Ground troops, tanks, fighter planes, armed personnel carriers (APC) and helicopters were involved in the attack exercise that was witnessed by the media.

Braving odds of extreme cold weather condition amid dense dusty atmosphere, the troops exhibited combat and other war related skills in a professional manner for which Pakistan Armed Forces are known for. elements involved in the exercise including airforce, showed accuracy in firepower hitting targets with precision.

Cholistan is arid and cold in the winter but not as exteme as Northern Area's or even Quetta or Ziarat in Balochistan, I think its a bit exaggerated.
