Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

turkey has made a dangerous move here. what are the chances of US sanctions ? will there will only financial sanctions or military sanctions as well? i think currently turkish is relying on US equipment specially the TuAF . if after US sanctions on turkish military will turkey be able to maintain her forces?
With only 70 cents in the treasury Turkey went to liberate the Turkish Cyprus from the Greeks - the grandfathers of the Western Civilization!!! Now, reserves stand at 140b$!!! Even if it had meant "suicide" Turkey would have embarked on this journey!!! This fight is existential in nature!! They have put the "terror of destruction" at the 0th km off the Turkish border!!! It's one of the last battles of the "War of Independence" having been relentlessly and tirelessly fought for the last 100 years....

dont know much about kurds but it is always saddening to see muslims fighting among themselves. and it is all over the muslim world now . pak jumped into this war out of fear of US military and sanctions and paid heavy toll and got humiliated.the zionists fund these so called islamic terrorists and on the other hand they buy the leaders of the islamic world and these two factions fight against each other.

after this operation the west will loose the primary pressure tool against turkey. That is why thei are jumping left and right. This operation is the most important operation in the last 4 decades. Lets also hope that this will result in a NATO exit.

dont know the exact dynamics of turkish border but in my opinion it would be better for turkey to fence the border with syria rather then invading the areas along the borders. hundreds of innocent muslim civilians will definitely be effected and killed in this operation. and the hatred in their hearts for turkey will increase manifold.
pakistan has this kind of problem with afghanistan who is continuously sending terrorists inside pak. many people talk about operations inside afghanistan but i think pak has adopted a wise approach to fence the border rather then launching operations inside afghanistan in which hundreds of innocent people are bound to be affected. the afghanis hate pak and we dont like them either but if pak conducts operations inside afghanistan this hatred will increase.

have you looked into their hearts?
you have started a war and in war innocents die. thousands of innocent muslims. turkey could have fenced its border with syria rather then invading their territory. turkey has given US an excuse to carry out more atrocities in the region and i am afraid turkey will suffer as turkey is going against islamic principles and has preferred national interests. pak did the same mistake and today it is right at the very bottom with no honor at international level, lost 70000 lost their lives, begging the whole world . this is what we have achieved when we preferred national interests over islamic principles out of fear and lust for worldly gains. and the worst thing is that we havent learned a thing. the fitna of nationalism will take the entire muslim world to destruction.

As for PKK/YPD/YPG etc., their official religion is Zoroastrianism. Mostly leftist/communist Kurdish folks join PKK, and they officially denounce Islam in public, but Christian rites are allowed for the Armenian and other Christian members, who form a overwhelming chunk! All "immoral" activities, from Islam's POV, are especially encouraged. And, they collect legionnaires from around the world with deep rooted anti-Turkish feelings in their cadres. The Turkish forces found that they used to fire at the private parts of their fallen comrades while retreating!!! Later inspections showed they were uncircumcised...

if they are doing immoral activities within their own society and are not interfering in your affairs and affairs of the local muslim population then you dont need to interfere in their affairs. if they are creating trouble for your country and for the local muslims then yes turkey can intervene.

best of luck turkey. just dont do anything against islamic instructions in the name of nationalism.

What would Turkey gain from that?

It would enable Turkey to take neutral stances in upcoming future conflicts. As of now that shit simply cant continue there are NATO nations embargoing turkey and threatening with sanctions because Turkey defends its border areas.

Maybe in 15 years when most of our defense projects are giving fruits and we are independent militarily from everyone we can exit NATO but for now we can’t win anything from saying them directly that we are now enemies and to go F themselves. Most of our Air force is dependent on Western tech as a small example.

We both know that we already are in enemy terms with most of them but better keep your enemies closer. Dynamics in the world change every year so who knows... maybe in the future tensions will lower etc so no need to hurry.
