By India Today Web Desk: Indian-origin leader Rishi Sunak became the first Hindu to be appointed as the UK Prime Minister. The Conservative Party leader once again proudly displayed his religious roots as he sported the sacred Hindu 'Kalawa' thread during his first address after taking charge as the UK PM.

At 10 Downing Street, 42-year-old Rishi Sunak was seen wearing the sacred red thread as he waved at his supporters.

Here are some other times Rishi Sunak flaunted his Hindu roots:

Wait is this disgusting guy trying to drink cow piss in the video????
What the shit happened to U.K. This is simply umbelievable. 10 Downing Street will need demolition after he leaves....disgusting....

yes unlike China where there is no diversity only Communist Han and all else face Genocide
Actually you should be proud.

His grand parents are from Pak. his parents are from East Africa, His father was working here in Tanzania. Sunak is born in UK.

So, technically he is - Pak-East African descent. Kudos... Pak and East Africa win.

When his granparent's left Gujranwala there was NO PAKISTAN. It was all called British India.
SO no connection to the Pakistan only to a part of India that was Gujranwala

It was part of a British colony not the country that came into existence on 15th August 1947

Stop owning Gujranwala pajeet

British Raj also include Myanmar, so saying Pakistan origin people as Indian is indeed false. Any way all British parliament from Labor said Sunak as South Asian British, not Indian British.

For those who don't know what the 'sacred thread' is, it is a symbol of high caste status and only upper castes are allowed to wear it.
Indians take the caste system with them wherever they go.
You are confusing it with Janeu which usually Brahmins wear. The sacred thread on the wrist all Hindus wear after Puja.
