I agree 100%. Its all about one upmanship between Indian and Pakistani members using each others social issues as scoring points. Defense topics are few and far in between

I could not agree more whole-heartedly. A few months ago, it was so depressing that I tapered off my interactions, in the hope that it was a temporary situation that would set itself right. Now, on return, it still hasn't improved. It seems that the younger members in particular subscribe to wild-eyed and harsh views about other nations, their social situations and their individual citizens' motives and inclinations. The amount of abuse that is generated almost from the outset is appalling, unbelievable. And in all this, there isn't the slightest pretence that it is about defence or defence-related.

Anybody have any solutions? I really would like to see a whole-hearted change of direction, hugely more technical topics and hugely less fanboy attacks.

CNG does not give enough heat while burning to expand gases fast enough to be a viable jet fuel for aircrafts...although it can be burnt in turbo shaft engines where thrust is vonverted to some other useful work...such as turning a generator.

A person can only do as much as start a thread with some information.... and then hope people would join in and a discussion could start..... however most posters are posting in other kinds of threads

and ofcourse threads from sir muradk-- I read all of them before my first post in this forum -- there are also many more threads , these were the threads I could recall offhand as most of them are by me , please forgive my bias

there are roughly 20 modelling hobby threads aswell for youngsters to vent out their frustration in a positive manner - if anyone wants the links , i would post them here aswell :toast_sign:

I have learned a great deal since i joined PDF. However, i think we need more exposure by people in the industry. The veterans.

More frequent posts from people like Mastan Khan, VCheng, Chogy etc.

Then the think Tanks need to be here more often. We had the new Sapper guy, but he rarely posts here now.
