Govt Crackdown on the Islamabad protesters | Updates & Discussions

Looks like someone was offered a bonus :cheesy:
i respect him - as him being a SSP - yet he decided to lead from the front - but as they say what goes around comes around

I can clearly see PAT and PTI leadership and workers tired, exhausted, tested to its limits of this patience in this = mighty nerve game.

there is a itsy bitsy rift -- nothing much of a concern --- this was not about taking sides - it was about - going by the books and staying off limits --- the more they involve themselves with political matter -- more their bottom will be dragged into the shit ---and that effects the military's image --- demoralizes the troops ---
if you remember just 2 days ago when there was a confusion about role of Facilator and Gurantor -- COAS was attending the Joint Training of SSG - SF PLAA --- and no statement was given by ISPR until COAS returned to HQ --- that should tell you how much he wants to avoid the military involvement in politics ---

Army has to abide by the agreement that it made with international guarantors. Let there be 3 elections.

Change can come through the system,
System is like a broekn egg shell cant really be taped back together without some changes and people actually wanting that change....but many corrupts in it dont want any form of change

people don't need to die or get injured.
True everyone wants that...However, in many countries when change was announced which was against their "norm" there was always a revolution and people died....Unfortunately the buffoons here in Pakistan have not read that history to learn from it...why? most are not even educated and have fake degree...others dont care as long as their wallet is filled
People need to have patience instead of forcing their own agendas upon others.
Well 68 yrs is alot of patience of being recycled between monarchs! Been used as black slaves! Even the blacks of America pushed for their freedom and acceptance! French revolution got their king executed and same happened to the last Tsar of Russia though he sounded (in history) as a nice man who cared for his country...

But the question is... Why do COAS keeps meeting Nawaz, every other day in this political turmoil? Every time, he meets Nawaz...there is some phadda... Like 2 days ago, as u said , he met Nawaz...and he tried to facilitate between talks, next day Nawaz announced, we didnt ask COAS to facilitate... COAS shouldnt have agreed to even facilitate , then, knowing Nawaz..... today he met Nawaz, then PM house deliberately leaked info...tht COAS has asked PM to resign...then ISPR denied it later, and even govt spokespman...but its confirmed tht leaks were from PM house..Shahid masood also confirmed it..

when is COAS going to understand tht Nawaz is not a trust worthy person? everytime COAS will meet, PM will try to malign army by using his dirty tricks...why does COAs hv a so corner for PM, when only in these days recently, PM has tried to malign him twice?

Koi common man bhi bata sakta hai ye ab then he's the CoAS .He understood that NS is father of fools but the problem is that in past army made mistakes and he don't want to repeat them COAS wants to play a positive role but some people are trying to drag army in politics.

Khan looks tired, body language is not the same, Looks Nervous... i hope he is feeling better....
He went to rest maybe he slept for a while. small time sleep at night can do that but yeah hope its just this and he is alright.

yar tbh, i find that bs, i have yet to hear about this from anyone or even a shred of a word that could point a finger towards it ---

Well dont know about leadership but the people sure are ...and their only fuel was basi rotiyan after police destroyed their food vans....after 17yrs police thought lets cut their food?! :what:

Oh and my new favorite guy in Pakistan, Gen. Raheel won't interfere in the politics. He comes from such an honorable family that he wants Military's High Prestige to remain there instead of getting the name dirty by getting involved with nasty politics. So this again tells everyone to let's play within the system

I wish you were correct. But I doubt that. By asking the govt to stand down even when sensitive locations are being stormed the military leadership is at least conniving in the actions of the thugs. Believe me: One stern call to pull away from the sensitive buildings would have been enough.

Anyway, next few hours are the real D-Day (do I sound like Imran?!). We shall see what happens if there is a crackdown and the military's reaction to that.
