Taliban takeover of Afghanistan: implications & next steps for Pakistan

BBC is bitching like crazy
and asking Indian commentators to discuss the situation. and of course then both join to blame Pakistan for everything

US media is either avoiding making it headline or just playing politics like blaming Biden decision to withdraw. Which we all know is US establishment decisions made during Trump presidency. Nothing to do with Biden.

where as BBC is uploading selected pictures of Afghan people in plights every few hours with new articles to vilify situation.

Afghan Taliban have captured Super Tucano A-29 light attack aircrafts of Afghan Air Force.

Update on Afghanistan As per multiple sources Mullah Ghani Baradar will take charge from Kabul Regime today at Presidential Palace in Kabul.

I wonder if he'll get the recognition from the west

Cause Talibs advance was largely peaceful except for strikes etc but mostly people just surrendered.

There is no fighting taking place in Kabul rn and if Ghani resigns that's "peaceful" with a quotation mark transfer of power

Is this acceptable for west ?

he and Swamy were planning to send a Bollywood crack commando team to Afghanistan to stage a dance score on streets of Kabul to scare away Taliban .. looks like they lost their way
LOL Modi doesn't give a damn about Afghanistan govt and Taliban.
He was busy giving historic speech from the ramparts of the Red ford on the occasion of independent day.
Btw with the success of Taliban, worry about the rise of Pakistani Taliban inside Pakistan.

We understand your pain; now cry a bit louder

Yes, I have pain because I mourn for them :
In [ Afghan ] cities especially, those who are educated, activists, thinkers, writers, protesters, are moving targets [ of Taliban ]. Between September 2020 and May 2021, the authorities have reported 180 targeted assassinations of journalists, judges, lawyers, human rights and women’s rights activists. They have been shot dead or blown up by car bombs.

And I mourn for the progressives, common people and community minorities who will now either emigrate or go underground or live in misery in the wonderful "Islamic" Emirate of Afghanistan of course co-sponsored by Western governments.

National day of shame for India? Everyone pelt stone on Ajeet Doval, day in India?

Couldnt even have scripted it better, kabul fell on 15th August!! Hahahaha.

Please read my reply to -blitzkrieg- in post# 35.

Send Taliban to Kashmir. The biggest favour u could do to genocidal Modi waiting for a good reason to the sell the world for next surgical strike on Pakistan or ultimately, war with Pakistan.
Nah we'll pass...

A nuetral Taliban in Indo-Pak is good for Pak in the long term
