Ziaur Rahman didn't fire a shot at Pakistani forces, says PM Sheikh Hasina

Yes, and in the 1960s, the military elite was busy protecting the country from another external/internal enemy named Fatima Jinnah. I would not continue this exchange any further, considering there is no way something meaningful could come out of it.
Exactly, there is nothing meaningful in discussing something when other side have a mindset of appeasement ignoring the facts. You are free to believe what you want but my job was to post facts.

I don't completely blame you either because not many people are lucky enough to break free of the massive amount of propaganda cycles. Some more propaganda include pakistan army checking for circumcision which later was proved to be Indian army. And more recently of Pakistan army being on 5th floor of a 2 story building.

The then government of Bangladesh invited the Indian Army to join its Mukti Bahini to expel the aggressive foreign Pakistani troops from the soil of Bangladesh.

India happily complied. But, why? Because the thick-headed Punjabi-Pathan generals of Pakistan expelled about 9 million Hindus from their homeland who took shelter in a poor India.

Your generals forgot, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction".

Why did you arrest Mujib instead of handing him the state power by calling a national assembly session? Your ZA Bhutto told Mujib, "Udhar Tum Aur Idhar Hum". So, who wanted to break Pakistan?

Was it not your generals, population, and politicians? After all, we are composed of Kala, Nanga, Bhukha Aur Nata people! Tall Punjabis and Pathans were ashamed of eating at the same table with us the Kala Admi although these Kala Admi brought Pakistan.

Now, we have built our separate table. Our jute was exploited by the tall guys and now we have moved to garments with $35 billion export that cannot be exploited by them.

Do you think India is taking away our money as you did for 24 years?
It didn't happen over night, it was well planned by the Indians and Zions who fooled the Bengalis into treason. Pakistan had been in existence for only 23 years when we almost everything was started from scratch. We had little weapons , little industry and little infrastructure. Bhutto knew the reality and was to some extent selfish and paid the price. He didn't want to lose power and action and reaction broke the nation.

The Indians had been training the insurgents and armed them to the teeth. Indian spies were active under the nose of the security forces the East Pakistan people had suffered the worst floods in their history and there was little West Pakistan could do. India took advantage and achieved their goal as it had been scheming for a long time. As Bengalis had good numbers in the armed forces and once they mutinied our Navy and Airforce crippled and there was only one outcome.

Stop being a slave of the Hindus and repeating their propaganda.

Pakistan did not steal any of the resources.

East Pakistan had farmers while factories were in the West.

Pakistan just maximized the resources for the greater good of the nation.

Having political fights is expected of the politicians but this Hindu propaganda being indulged nd parroted by the Bengalis that Punjabhis, Sindhis and Pushtuns stole their resources, raped and killed them needs to be called out.

A reading of posts on this thread only portray that Pakistan and BD can't have good relationships, at least, in foreseeable future. Their inherent contradictions are too deep, which are further deepened by the fabricated and fake stories and accounts of formation of BD.

Mutinous benaglis have long history of killing heir leader, poor Bangabandhu whole family was killed except for Uglu hasina, Zia Rehman was killed by very own mukitis of bangla desh,

Bottom line is , no one fired a single bullet , only all father and his family members fought alone ; father fought from Pakistani prison, sons fought from India, and daughter fought from Dhaka under Pakistani military observation.

1500 rupee allowance from Pakistan govt was more than enough sign of a true freedom fighter family! :undecided:

Bangladesh military don't take action against her, because she is on right track.

And she is rejecting Ziaur Rahman because it's the dirty political nature of Bangladesh.

I wouldn't mix dirty politics (that is normal here ; BNP even did worse thing when they were in power ) and other things. On many other cases Hasina is just doing great!

I don't see anything as simply as it looks like !

Life is too harsh and it's impossible to make everyone happy; it's also not necessary too!

Mukti Bahini terrorists killed innocent Non-Bengalis, Pro-Pak militias killed Bengalis in retaliation

The genocide/fratricide was mutual, just like 47

Bangladeshis need to forget and move on, whatever happened between us was half a century ago.

Let the dead bury the dead

It is in fact war of conflicting narratives. Physical fights end; injuries get healed; but the war of narratives continue, persistently.

Killing Mukti Bahini terrorists is legitimate as no state will entertain terrorists.

Tbh , actually no one care in Bangladesh other than some Indian dalal ( they are Pakistan lovers as well , as even God fearing people don't take the name of God too frequently, as the Indian dalal take Pakistan name in Bangladesh) .

People have many things to do apart from thinking Pakistan and 1971.

It's was told here several time that Bangladeshi media is just puppet of India, yet PDF Pakistani take there words as the position of Bangladeshi people.

Nowadays life is becoming harder, so 170 million people really love to focus on how to earn more money instead of thinking of 1971 .

You guys should understand it!

And you always forget that the OP used to came with agenda always.

But every time you guys were fooled by him. Tell me how it can be relevant in Pakistan forum if Hasina said that Ziaur Rahman didn't fight freedom war?

It's purely internal politics and nothing to do with Pakistan!

For most Pakistanis, Bangladesh is just another geopolitically irrelevant Indian vassal state like Nepal or Bhutan. But Bangladesh's entire political narrative or even the very rationale behind its existence seems to be built around 'Pakistan hating' based on Pakistan's alleged atrocities supposedly committed some 50 years ago.

It's not any kind of fight. It's just politics. How can it be fight if she is insulting her own country's freedom Fighters?

She is doing so just to supress her political opponents.

She want to remove BNP influence from Bangladesh! And one more thing, soon you will see that BNP will be sitting on Indian lap.

No. I was not referring to her comments about General Ziaur Rehman, but the discussion, being held, between Pakistani and BD posters, on this thread.
